If Dallas National were the only course I ever designed, I feel I would have had a great career. The topography of this enchanted landscape conjures thoughts of great golf courses in other parts of the country: Pristine fairways cutting through limestone canyons. Streams meandering through thickets of cedars, oaks and elms.

If you are lucky enough to play here as a guest be prepared. This course is not for the weak. The course is beautiful and in amazing shape all the time, but it will quickly show its teeth if you are not hitting it well. The rough is no joke. It may not be the tallest rough you have ever played, but it is thick and dense. It grabs everything that dares to challenge it. You must keep it in the fairway on this course other wise it will be a long day of hacking out fighting for bogies. Course is amazing and a must play if you get the invite.

Breath taking views, besides all of the woodland creatures that stole my golf balls. I was not reimbursed, but honestly that's on me. NEVER avert your eyes when beasts of the wild approach the green. Staff is excellent, but have claimed to not see the woodland creatures. I'm pretty sure it's an inside joke with us all now, but I only laugh to hide the fear that I may be hallucinating. -Kurt Bevins

I had the opportunity to play here yesterday. From the moment you enter the gate until the time you leave everything was nothing but pure class. Furthermore, the member that we played with could not have been more enjoyable. If you ever get the opportunity to play this golf course I highly recommend it. You will not be let down.by anyone.
