Born and raised in Boulder, Britton pursued a liberal arts education at Pomona College in Los Angeles. After graduation he moved to Seattle and began his 20 year career in the landscape industry. The first 8 years were spent working as a crew member with Hendrikus Schraven where he specialized in stone masonry and landscape construction. Over time Britton branched out into his own landscape design and build company, while also growing his academic career to include an Master's in Landscape Architecture from the University of Washington.

Sound landscape planning typically follows sequential phases. We have structured our design services around helping our clients through each phase, or on an individual phases as needed. Many of our clients begin the process of re-imagining their home gardens and landscapes with a conceptual design package.
Britton and his team are available for landscape construction projects including demolition, site preparation, grading and structural projects, soil remediations, carpentry, stonework, lighting design, irrigation and plantings. Project management services assist with the details and support the overall fidelity of the design concept.
Our clients dreamed of an outdoor space they could enjoy year-round - no matter the weather. We designed and crafted the covered gazebo, hardwood patio, and outdoor fireplace to match our client's warm and inviting personalities. The planting design features lush moss and textured ferns to contrast with a clean, minimal aesthetic to the concrete and stone work.
A multi-year project working closely with our clients to bring their dreams of a modern, yet inviting, formal garden to frame their heritage home. Working across all aspects of the garden, Britton created pockets of interest with living walls, black-white themed plantings, and spectacular blooming borders with year-round interest.
