Garbini & Garbini has provided services for both public and private sector clients since 1984. The firm is located in the beautiful historic Gaslamp District in downtown San Diego.

The firm is certified by Caltrans as a State Woman Business Enterprise SWBE, the California Unified Certification Program as a DBE firm and the Office of Small Business Certification and Resources (California) as a certified Small Business Enterprise.

Featured Projects Report

Landscape Architectural design for a new mixed use development located two blocks from the ocean. A water conscious plant palette which employs species that thrive in a coastal environment and accents key architectural features. The hardscape design is a symbiosis of decorative concrete, stone paving, decorative pots and custom water features which enhances the facade of the residential and commercial units. The landscape design provides an inviting environment for both the commercial units and the luxurious condominiums located above.

Platinum Centre Apartments Report

Garbini & Garbini provided landscape architectural design for the courtyards and streetscapes of this five story high-end residential project. The project is a great example of urban infill and includes wide pedestrian parkways within a short walking distance of sports and entertainment venues, dining, and mass transit.

U.S. Marine Corps Training Facility Report

Garbini & Garbini provided a low maintenance, drought tolerant landscape for the new Marksmanship Training Facility at Camp Pendleton. The design includes a meandering bioswale to infiltrate storm water, street and parking lot trees for shading paved surfaces, swaths of inorganic mulches to minimize the area of plant material requiring ongoing maintenance, and bands of native plantings with boulders to naturalize and enhance the bioswale and streetscape.Areas for seating, exercising, and marching in formation were also provided.
