Very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly staff, especially Bill. The property is expansive, plant selection, and quality are amazing. Prices are comparable to area competitors. Definitely worth the stop.

Great selection. No public restrooms and we were from out of town. No trashcan to throw away stuff. Not the friendly staff either.

This is one of the premier nurseries in Kentucky by far, their selection is phenomenal and their facility is very clean and we had a wonderful salesman. With that being said they do not stand behind anything that they sell and i am speaking in reference to their warranty with on the plants, flowers exedra. This company loves you till you walk out the door and my wife and i have experienced it numerous times even after spending over $1800.00 for landscaping!

I wanted to tell the good before i told the truth about their company and owners and the reasoning behind that is that it was not all bad and it was not all good, and with this big of a company you should at least try to make the bad better. NOT IN THEIR CASE! after the sale we have had nothing but excuses' in why they cant help us with the simplest requests and keep in mind this was with in 3 weeks after our purchase not a year or two later.

Do your homework before buying from this family owned business. They don't care one iota about you or your business and i am being truly sincere when typing this review and i personally know it won't hurt their business now, but their bad business practices will catch up with them. WHAT COMES AROUND GOES AROUND.

I love Wallitsch. Great staff! The variety of plants is outstanding and they are healthy. They also have hard to find plants that are unique.

This place is amazing with variety and sizes of plants. The staff is super helpful. They are a little pricey but there stock looks better than other places I've looked at.

Went a bit early to find all the must haves for the season. Louisville weather is a fickle one. Friendly and informative staff. Reasonable prices and they will soon have a large selection of annuals and so much more. Love local spots, this one will not disappoint. Beautiful stock of healthy succulents.

Came here to find some plants for my bathroom, left with a nice selection and a lot more knowledge on house plants than I had coming in. Everyone was so helpful and knowledgeable, and the variety of plants and accessories was very impressive. I'm never going anywhere but here for my plant and landscaping needs.

This garden center is new to me. I am not a native of Lou. I have moved to this part of town this garden center is top notch. I had visited last fall and this year when we had nice days. In my opinion if you are a serious home owner and you want top notch choices you should check it out this spring. They have not received their products yet.

We visited Wallitsch Gardens and Nursery today, and even though they didn't have all their plants in yet for the Spring season, it was a pleasure just to walk around in heated greenhouses and talk to the staff about plants. I loved how organized things were and easy to find. They were so friendly and we look forward to going back in a month or so when everything is ready.

Excellent quality and selection of plants. I can always find herbs and varieties I can't find elsewhere. The staff has always been helpful and answered questions with patience.

Great selection. Local knowledgeable helpful people. They guarantee their plants. Some say pricey but they have a garden club that can help.

Quality products, quality plants. Someone helped me load topsoil and pine fines to my cart and to my car. Appreciate that

Wallitsch is a great garden center. Plants are healthy looking and the people that work there are knowledgeable. They always have everything I'm looking for in the way of plants. I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because they are quite pricey.

Fantastic plants. Very reasonable prices for them. Pots were on the pricey side, but not horrible. Great selection of veggies and landscaping plants of all variety. Didn't have a huge selection of 'houseplants' but their succulent section was absolutely beautiful. They provide a cardboard flat at checkout to put your plants in also. Which is lovely since I always forget to put something in the seat for them to sit on.

We went to Wallitsch to look for some "cool" plants so we can start our gardening for the spring. They didn't have too much yet as it's not gardening season yet, but I am ready to go back to Wallitsch in a few more weeks. The staff there was so kind and helpful and they have so many different plants/flowers to look at. I would ask about their greenhouses - it's just so nice to see all of it! They're locally owned and just feels good to be there. Highly recommend Wallitsch!

Prices are a little on the high side but they have a really great selection and very helpful staff. They have also done a great job of enforcement of social distancing guidelines.

They were not watering their indoor plants! My Monstera's soil was sooooo dry and had many yellow leaves. Honestly bought it just so it wouldn't die there.

Masks required, social distancing guidelines posted prominently throughout, much to choose from. Got what we needed and are excited to get planting on this gorgeous day. Fast and friendly service. Local owned.

Beautiful. Helpful. Local! As a regular, it's fun to see new gorgeous flowers and plants often not found anywhere else! The owners are long time local small business owners born into the business. We love them! Thank You for being in our area all these years.

Beautiful garden center. Lots of variety. I love the butterfly chair and the fountains scattered around. A staff member was able to direct me to two of the four things I've been searching for for a month now; sunflowers and chives. I don't enjoy gardening at all but I enjoy having a gorgeous backyard and Wallitsch is one of the favorite places to go to find stuff.

It's very nice! I really like it. The only thing is the prices are really high compared to other garden places. That's not a big deal if you have a bunch of money. Since I'm a huge garden person I have to shop around. Have fun in gardening.

This place is a big hit or miss. I recognize they are probably one of the more important garden centers in the area but they miss hugely on customer service and authenticity. Ive called and asked about material in stock many times and have been told many different things. There inventory is very inconsistent in terms of size and price and availability. there inventory in terms of variety is amazing, but you will pay for it.

I have lost faith and interest in Wallitsch. Do better. Stop your stupid TV appearances and start being a real family nursery. My guess they will be out of business in 5 years from appearance and desperate advertising.

My neighbor and I visited for the first time yesterday, and they had a one of the largest selections of plants of any of the nurseries in the area. They also had a great greenhouse for house plants. I was able to find the rubber tree that I was looking for as well as a Monstera deliciosa. The plants all looked super healthy, and the prices were pretty good too. I will definitely be returning. The only "warning" would be that they don't accept Amex.

Great spot! A little pricey but definitely quality well taken care of plants. I'm willing to spend a bit more to support local and for obvious higher quality than big box stores. Also worth noting, though we were there just before closing the staff was helpful, smiling and full of conversation and advice- zero indication of being rushed out. I'll be coming back here for sure.

I was looking for lavender a bit late in the season and couldn't find it anywhere! Every nursery I called was either sold out or didn't carry it. Wallitsch not only had it in stock but offered a selection of 4-5 different varieties. I was very happy with their selection and the service.

My friend and I stopped by here Saturday after seeing their booth at the Home, Garden and Renovation Show. This place is magic. We didn't see them, but I am sure the place is loaded with fairies. The entry is decorated beautifully with sculptures - my favorite was a butterfly bench. The plants are obviously premium - their pansies were beautiful and giant and they had lovely purple magnolias prominently in the entryway.

They offer umbrellas to use while you are shopping if needed - very thoughtful! Our favorite was the gift shop and green house. They have some unique and very cute items. A whole selection of mini plants that are perfect for terrariums. I bought some gorgeous ceramic glazed pots for my patio and a cute staghorn fern wrapped in a moss ball. Really neat place. A lovely spot to spend a half hour - or more as well as top quality merchandise. Peaceful and relaxing. Friendly folks working there too.

LOVE! A truly beautiful place. They carry a wide variety of healthy plants and their staff is friendly and helpful. It's like stepping into a small slice of paradise, especially with the relaxing music that they play.

Wallitsch is as good as it gets for a garden center in the Louisville area! I have been to quite a few of them around the tri-state area and I am still just awed when I walked in. Greenhouse after greenhouse, it just keeps getting better and better here. I had no idea such a large nursery existed right off Hikes Lane. Did you know Wallitsch is the supplier of those huge, lush planters around downtown?

The quality and vitality of the plants at Wallitsch is the best I have seen. They offer some of the harder to find plants such as Bougainvilleas and all variety of figs, regular and dwarf pomegranates. Their Fuchsia collection is dazzling and breath taking. Those colors are much more vivid than the local big box garden centers' offers. If you are remotely interested in plants and gardening, you must see Wallitsch's for yourself. The price is a bit higher than the Big Boxes, but it is all worth it.
