Bill's Garden, Inc. was founded by Bill Hartman in 1985 after earning his B.S. degree in Horticulture from South Dakota State University. Bill serves on the Horticulture department's advisory board at Southeast Technical Institute in Sioux Falls. Bill's focus on sound horticulture practices and technical skills along with his commitment to customer satisfaction has resulted in a loyal client following and respect within the industry. Bill Hartman developed a love of gardening with his father and grandmother while growing up in Garden City, Sd. After graduating from SDSU with a BS degree in Horticulture in 1983, Bill worked in a greenhouse for one year before growing vegetables and small fruits for the Downtown Farmer's Market for a number of years, during which he also started doing landscaping.
