We are thrilled! The project turned out more beautiful than we imagined. Dave and his team were fantastic and really showed how much they care about and enjoy their work. From the moment we first walked the yard until the final sweepings were loaded onto the truck it has been a marvelous experience.
Our support of WRVO includes From the Soil with Sollecito, a series of informative and entertaining podcasts of landscape topics, tips and trends. We enjoy a long-term relationship with HOPE for Bereaved. Most recently we re-landscaped the remodeled HOPE Headquarters and continue our commitment to the Butterfly Garden of HOPE on Onondaga Lake Parkway. Don't miss the new butterfly-attracting hydrangea collection at the entrance.

Very pushy. Highly inflated prices. Non - professional installers. One of them urinated against my garage. Half of what they planted either died or I had it removed because it wasn't what I wanted. Thankfully found another landscape company to correct problems. I spent about $6,000 with this company and would never recommend it.

I always love shopping at Sollecito's. The plants are well cared for, staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Must also mention the clever whimsical decor in their gardens, and small playground area for the kids (which of course isn't able to be used during the pandemic) They have everything I need.

They maybe very good at plants but tell me how a landscaping business does not know anything about types of grass. I want to re-seed my lawn and when I asked if some could tell me about the kind of grass I have they told me grass is grass and they sell only one type of grass seed. To be a landscaper don't you need to go to school to learn about turf, plants, flowers, and trees so you know what you are giving customers.
Even I know there is rye, fetcus, bluegrass, etc. I just do not know what type I have or what kind of seed I should get. Like I said they were nice on the phone but a landscaping business that does not know about grass.

All I can say is, "WOW!" The assistance I received was beyond good, and the gardens in the center appear to be hand selected for beauty. I needed advice on breaking up my clay soil, and buying a hydrangea bulb, or seeds. I was told that I would have better luck finding a hydrangea that has already sprouted. I accepted that. I also needed advice on the red lily beetles that ate many of my garden plants this year (first spring in Syracuse, from Mexico). Jessica was an example of customer service at it's best.

I've been a client since 2000 and I love this place! Where do I begin? First, I LOVE to visit the nursery. All the plants look so healthy. I love to see all of the blooming plants and the changes as the season changes. The majority of the plants, trees, shrubs are in pots and planted in the ground instead of stacked on racks and trays over tarvia.
Only a few are displayed on wooden carts or tables. This might be why their plants always look so fresh and healthy. And I believe their plants are really healthy and are worth the money I spent on them. Over the years I've purchased perennials at other places for less money, but those plants didn't last as long in my garden as have the plants and trees I've purchased at Sollecito.
But what I really love is their advice! I am a DYI accidental gardener with a brown thumb and little extra time to do this gardening thing. Whenever I have a question or problem, I snap a photo and go into the nursery to ask for advice. Everyone there is so patient with me, and they help me choose the right plant or product to address my concern. They are big on education and provide lots of FREE documents to explain how to plant or prune, etc., AND they also take the time to explain what you need to do to be successful. My garden would be a disaster without these folks!
