Lyme disease is the number one spreading vector borne epidemic in the U.S. and Europe, and mimics other chronic diseases according to the CDC figures from 2013. Tick borne co-infections are also rapidly rising, such as bartonella, ehrlichia, babesia, mycoplasma, chlamydia, and candidatus mikurensis are just some of the more common co-infections seen with the Borrellia bacteria of Lyme.
The Lone-Star tick has found it's way into our landscapes and brings with it a new disease to add to the 22+ co-infections of Lyme disease that exist already. Read about this new threat on the Lyme Tab at the top of the page. Spring; NO Power raking, please! A winter of heavy snow and bitter cold has taken it's toll on your lawn and trees.
