I own a landscaping company. I buy sod very frequently, and have bought my sod from JB for over 5 years. They used to have the best quality sod in our area. However ever since last year I've noticed the quality drop significantly. The cuts of thier sod are no longer straight they are almost always crooked which makes installing a nice new lawn harder and it lowers the quality look once installed.

Their Washington sod product is the worst please avoid that. It will fall apart or have missing sections that are over 3inches in diameter. I belive this is happening becuase of the amount of orders they recieve. Thier guys are probably working to fast and having the quality drop because of that. Ive had situations where i order a couple of pallets of sod, ill have almost half a pallet of sod that is no good. Im okay with maybe 10% of the rolls being bad but this is way to much, im losing a lot of money on wasted product that is lower quality or falling apart.

I've told them about this and they brush me off, it's sad to see this happen they are my favorite and go to store for sod. I really hope they make a change becuase I'll soon have to change my supplier and so will many others, please note that I really enjoyed this location, but I need a quality product for my clients.

Closed while my employee was walking in on the phone with me telling me prices of materials. 3 minutes before closing time refused to serve him. I have been a customer for years and am just shocked at how he was treated while I was listening on the phone.

Wow! So impressed, Gary Roe was up and on the road very early to get our sod to us!! He was there at the exact time they said he would be. Such a friendly guy too! We had a beautiful green lawn down before 11:00 am. Thank you for your great service!! I highly recommend this company.

I bought JB seed and seeded 5000 square feet. It came in great. After a month I noticed weed's. I called JB they gave me Jeremy's phone number and said he could help me. I called and talked with him. He was in my area and stopped by 20 minutes later. Looked it over told me what to do and it worked. Very happy thanks JB.

I ordered grass the day before, I went the next day and they didn't have the grass, I asked why they didn't call the answer was we don't have to call. They asked me to wait for 10 minutes and then they said they didn't know if it would be 10 minutes or more they didn't have hours, it bothered me and they told me to go somewhere else if I didn't like it.

Called about sod. Pressed 1 to be redirected for sod. Bad customer service when called. Asked the person about sod choices and she seemed confused. Asked again and again couldn't tell me about sod options. So I hung up

On a whim and only using yelp! ratings I ordered 2400 sq ft of sod from JB Instant Lawn. Delivery date was quick, and arrived first thing in the morning. The driver staged the pallets around the area I was going to sod so the material was close but not in the way. The sod looked very good, with only 2 rows having defects out of the 5 complete pallets. When I called about what to do about them it ended up an employee was heading to my area anyway and offered free delivery of the replacements. He ended up bringing a few extra for free as well. Excellent product and customer service. Happy to refer your services to any and everyone!

I ordered 800 square feet of sod. The sod was delivered on time and good price. The sod arrived on 2 pallets and was cut the day before. The first pallet was cut nice and very healthy. The rolls about 2.5" thick. The second pallet was okay meaning the sod was healthy but the cut was not as thick. I am guessing between 1.5-2" thick. I lost about 6 pieces because it was to thin and fell apart.

The sod was put down 2 weeks ago and just mowed for first time. It looks great as the grass is healthy. I would order again from them as the sod is good, just did not like the inconsistency of the cutting.

This is the first review I've ever left for a business on the internet. I had a terrible delivery experience with JB Instant Lawn today, and since their customer service person offered no help, no options and no follow-up, I felt like I should report it publicly. The problem could have been easily solved: The delivery person just didn't call me before dropping the sod in front of our house.

We needed it in the back, and he/they refused to move it, even though I called within an hour of drop-off. I ended up having to carry the sod up our front stairs, then wheelbarrow it around the house, five pieces at a time. It took unnecessary hours and energy. The sod seems to be of fine quality (hence the two stars), but the the people I spoke with were so unaccommodating and the experience left me deeply annoyed. I would not use them again.

Can't believe how rude and arrogant the semi truck drivers, or the grounds management is. I have had 3 horrific experiences now on the same stretch of road. First it was nearly getting thrown from my bike because of the debris left from JB activity, made contact with corporate they got it fixed within 24hrs. Second and third all happened in the last 48hrs.

Yesterday I had to get off my bike and try to walk it with two shredded tires because of the ridiculous qualities of debris completely covering the entire bike lane. Later in the day on my way back into kirkland. I had there semitruck driver wait until I was less than 50 ft from him when he decided to pull out in fro t of me forcing me to make an emergency stopping maneuver on debris riddled roadway from 28mph, he then proceeded to drive in the bike lane showering the roadway and the bike lane in a continuous flow of gravel and debris.

When I stopped to give him space so I could stop choking on debris he stopped. He forced me to breath his garbage. Then as he pulled into jb farms he made a point of stabbing the throttle and flinging quantity of stones out into the roadway and directly at me, now I had been forced to take a car lane for my safety and was still hit 5 or more times in the face by flying stones.

Now this morning on my way to work I had to travel in the wrong direction due to the fact that JB has completely covered the roadway and bikelane and have made it unavailable to use by anyone. I am currently collecting video.
