**I STRONGLY WARN YOU TO AVOID THIS COMPANY** Unfortunately, our HOA hired this pathetic company to service our entire community. They thought by paying more for a lawn service it would mean a better product and if/when they did not execute obligations within their contract the Board could hold them accountable. Haha. Not even close. Crabapple has walked our community more than four times with their board and our HOA Board members but still continue to underperform.

It has been more than four months since they started and they still do not have a consistent schedule. Utterly unacceptable! They miss multiple properties week in and out and always have some poor excuse. I have reached out to this company numerous times within the past four months and I have not received a response yet. Lack of Communication and Services.

Not sure how this company can stay in business with reviews like this. I have asked more than twenty times for things to get done and the field crews lust look away. The do not even have a care in the wold for what they do. One of my biggest complaint is the fact that they blow all the crap from the street up over the tree belt and onto my front porch!

Who would do such lousy work. I guess crab apple landscaping does and will continue until someone in the office actually comes out and see the lack of effort they out into the job. Do not choose this company for your HOA or any other landscaping needs.

Very unprofessional, I have seen managers and crews alike drinking on the job and while driving vehicles. higher management very unprofessional letting employees break the law and management gets on to the employees who are actually there to do there jobs. will never be using again and I high recommended you don't either

HOA BE WARNED! Steer clear of this company.they are the worst! They have done irreparable damage to the landscaping in my community. bushes and shrubs not trimmed correctly! The community looked like Whoville! a bunch a plants and trees mysteriously died all at the same time two weeks after they were seen spraying something within the community! It will take out new landscapers months to repair what they did.

This company is terrible. I live in Royal Towne Park townhouse community in Decatur. Today the workers came and blew all the leaves from the common areas and parking lot onto the sidewalks and into people's yards. We asked them what they were doing and they said they were following instructions. No one from Crabapple would call me back. They are also supposed to pick up trash in the common areas, which they do not do.

We had some contruction near the front of the complex that's been completed for 3 months, and they have yet to have mowed the grass in this area. You would think the owners would be concerned, given all the one star reviews, but evidently not. DO NOT HIRE THEM.

Michelle Coleman on the sales/marketing team is amazing. She helped so much. The whole process start to finish was a breeze and my front lawn looks amazing.! I got trees planted, sod put in, and a garden planted. Best landscaping company on planet earth Service: Lawn mowing & maintenance

Critical: Quality So sad to come back home and found my yard totally destroyed! Our association hired this company to come every Thursday, they broke my garden lights twice, they cut the grass very low and killed! They kill my flowers! The job they did is just unacceptable. I'm so disappointed that I truly think to sold my house!

This company landscapes in the community that I own my home in. They begin as early as 8 am on the weekday mornings, often waking my family because of their loud equipment and how slowly the workers move about. Not everyone is an early riser and this is not commercial property. I've spoken with their management and this continues. Very unhappy with this company.

Hire a landscaper who is logical. Hire a landscaper who makes a logical schedule and follows it. Hire a landscaper who recognizes that these bushes are overgrown and out of control, but they don't lie and say we trimmed them last month. LIES. No you didn't. That's not one month's growth. These are outta control and Crapapple will get to them when it's the week for Zone 4.

Love this company and it's crew! Ben is the account manager for our property and has been communicative and responsive. He takes the time to ask questions and is proactive with our landscaping needs. The crew that services our property has been doing an excellent job. Overall the property looks amazing! Jason was our previous account manager, he was also very communicative; and like Ben, treats our property like it's his own.

The road was a little rocky in the beginning but this company aims to please and turned it around. I would think most everyone who lives on the property would agree it is looking good! Thank you Crabapple Landscape Experts!

This company does NOT do their job! They have skipped my yard over the last 3 weeks even after I speak with one of their associates. They do a poor job of edging, blowing off the yard, front porch and patio. When they edge, the trim the bushed and flowers around my patio. Yesterday, they told me they will cut the yard and the next thing I know, they are gone. What does it take to do the job they were hired to do? Our HOA should find someone that can actually do their job!

I thought I'd come back and update my review because when you didn't think it could get worse, it has. For the HOA boards of the Atlanta are, this message is for you. If you want good, reliable landscaping service to service your communities, this is not the place. You'd think things would get better. They've only gotten worse.

If there was a 0 star option or worse, I'd go as low as the rating would allow. My own hasn't been mowed in 22 days. These guys are still bring paid by our HOA. It's awful.

This is one of my first review on Yelp only because of my frequent experiences similar to the homeowners that took the time to express concerns. The problem with Crabapple is that simply they do not perform the services they are contracted such as edging, blowing leaves and trimming. It would be one thing to at least perform the job with sub par quality but simply services are SKIPPED and appears reviews from other homeowners are similar.

I had to pay another landscaper almost a thousand out of pocket to simply trim the shrubs that Crabapple neglected to do. Crabapple just came by today and here are the pictures. Our entire neighborhood has similar concerns and emails go unheeded. Crabapple you are commodity business where people have choices - I hope you will address them.

Worst service. They are hired by our HOA and so we have to bear their bad behavior and damages that they have done. Our Landscape has been ruined by this company and they refuse to take the responsibility for the same. Their manager speaks very disrespectfully to customers and doesn't listen to the complaints of customers. In 2016 they damaged our property lights, no compensation was given.

For two years we stopped their services but we had to keep paying them, for zero services, because they are contracted by the HOA. During this time we had asked various landscape contractors including Trugreen paying them extra to maintain our lawn. In January of 2019, we asked them to restart the service as we were assured by the new HOA management company that things would be different.

For the first three months they didn't service our lawn but cut down ground level and uprooted some of our plants. When we complained about it. They ignored and further with no treatment let the weeds grow in the yard for three months. In summer this year they completely ruined our front yard and then uprooted some new plants. When we asked them the reason for acting in this way, they said they didn't do it.

They lied. Further after showing them the video evidence of the same they said that they thought the plants were weeds. No weeds were removed from the yard but the plant was uprooted. The manager mentioned that he cannot maintain plants if the owner put plants of their choice in their front yard. Now, most of the homes have put plants of their choice but he maintains their front yard.

So here was another lie. All disgusting excuses. They probably do this so that they will have to do less work if they totally harass the customer. And if the customer is bound by the HOA to take such bad services then it makes the matters worse, for hardworking home owners who have to do the lawn work even after paying $119/- a month for maintenance services to the HOA.

Please ask them to close down their business if they believe that they can ask money for no services given. It looks more like a mafia than a landscape company. The customer service is very rude. They hire people who do not know the difference between a flowering plant and a weed.

DO NOT HIRE! This company has damaged our fence several times and have refused to pay to fix it stating accidents happen. Yes they do occasionally happen but not every single time you come onto our property over and over again. We have since fixed the fence with money out of our own pockets only for them to completely bend our new steel hinges right off yet again.

There is no return calls back at this point and no responsibility taken by this company. I plan on filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and hope this company does not scam any others into trusting and using them!

I have lived in two houses that the HOA uses Crabapple Landscaping, so I have lots of experience with them and their lack of Customer Service and especially on-site supervision. I am now having serious problems with them now that I currently live in a single family home in the West Village in Smyrna. I have to call our CRM, Michael Culbert every few weeks because I can go weeks without seeing anyone on my property (I am off on Mondays during their visit, so I know what they do or don't do).

If they actually show up, they do a poor and inadequate job like yesterday, pictures attached, even after talking to Michael in the morning. When I complained to Michael today, I got serious attitude and a total lack of concern about the level of their work and especially my satisfaction. Before buying into a new neighborhood, check with the HOA about their choice of landscaping company.

If they use Crabapple Landscaping, that would be a deal breaker for me. You will be guaranteed poor service and have no recourse unless your HOA changes providers There are serious reasons why companies with this level of Customer Service consistently earn only one star.

Mr. Rucker I have yet to get a call back from anyone concerning the damage to my fence and the board has told me several times they told Branden about it. I took care of the damaged fence post myself and chalked it up to crappy customer service on your part. So before you state you have no unanswered return calls from me you need to make sure that the call is suppose to come from you to me since I am the one with the damage.

But what is funny your guys have torn up two other gates as well as an a/c unit and the board was made aware of those issues also and yet no one gets a call back. Seems something is wrong some where and if you keep this kind of business up you want have a business. Just read the bad reviews you have long before I placed my. Thank heavens I want have to deal with your company ever again I just hope they don't screw things up over the next two weeks and I have to fix something else!

Update: After my initial review I was contacted immediately by Crabapple. I feel like we now have an open line of communication and my concerns are being addressed. My yard looks much better and my hope is that this kind of service from Crabapple continues.

Since our HOA hired this company there is nothing I can do about it. Thank you Crabapple landscaping for always doing the absolute minimal and a totally shoddy job at even that! And clearly too lazy to get out the push mower out for the small areas, instead they use the riding lawnmower which just scalps certain areas in result of those terrible brown spots. Weeds weeds weeds. No bags in the doggie Pot for over two months now and of course it's also overflowing as usual.

Well, it's only been a few months, but our neighborhood yards have filled up with weeds. I can't believe any reputable company would let these terrible reviews persist on Yelp without even a reply to one or another to say "sorry" or "we're working to fix the problem". This company's definition of trimming seems to be to apply RoundUp everywhere and yet no pulling of big weeds in the bushes and flower beds, and no fertilization or lawn applications for weed control. (Although, that was in the proposal) The workers are very nice however and try to help. (Hence the extra star). It seems that supervision and a sense of pride is greatly lacking at this company.

This is the worst landscape company i have every had any business with. Their yard people have no idea what they are doing. I have had two meetings with one of their managers to explain to him that his workers are spraying the flowers with Roundup. It is evident there has been training. He assured me this would never happen again. Well they sprayed what few flowers that were left. When I called them on it they thought it was funny

PLANT BUTCHERS. Pruned (I hesitate to use that word) a fig tree in August fully loaded with figs, cut approximately half the limbs off until it looked like an umbrella, and left the "pruned" limbs on the ground. Plus incorrect limb pruning to boot. Last week (September 22, 2016) used a weedeater to scalp liriope border, 3' tall groupings of walking iris and two types of lilies to the ground.

Not a single blade of walking iris left and rhizomes exposed to bare sun during this drought. One group of lilies cut to ground, also with not a single blade left visible and other group of lilies scalped and ragged edged now. One month before our first freeze will hit. Mowed the grass to a scalping height with bare ground visible. Who thinks any new tender growth will recover to withstand winter weather? Ignorant, untrained workers which is the fault not of the individual worker, but of the management that hires that untrained worker.

It comes from the top.the trickle down theory. Management cares not about training the worker properly or about providing quality service to the customer. Very shortsighted on the part of management and a true disservice to the customer. Our condo association just made the decision to let their contract expire, but that will not undo all the damage (much more over the past year than this bit mentioned here) to the plantings at our complex which will take another year to recover. They will never receive our business again.

Lazy, utterly inept, untrained and unsupervised. Used to be excellent. Manager is unresponsive, forgetful, lazy. Never actually oversees anything. Neither crew nor managers know anything about plant maintenance. Maybe OK for just lawn mowing, but they're otherwise slow and late with lawn treatment as well. Avoid at all costs.

I have worked with Crabapple Landscape on multiple properties for the past 9 years. As an HOA president I hired them in my neighborhood and 9 years (and several boards) later they still have the contract. Their work is solid and when neighbors express concern about even the smallest of items the Crabapple team is always eager to resolve. Recently they walked the entire neighborhood to address any items that residents had submitted.

They have helped convert many landscape items that the original developer installed to plants/trees etc. that are more suited for the size of the space and sun exposure etc. They are proactive. As an example when a particularly heavy storm came through our neighborhood manager called to say they would be sending a team out that morning (not our scheduled day) to remove branches etc. that had been blown down during the storm. The management team is accessible and experienced. Great company!

My HOA hired this company to take care of our property and we have had multiple problems with them. I have watched them steal stuff off of my porch and when I confronted them about it they tried to deny it and stated he didn't speak English. When we contacted the company directly they stated he took my stuff because he thought it was trash. I have a large trash can on my porch that if he actually thought it was trash he could have thrown it in.

They intentionally sprayed my potted plants with weed killer and killed them. Today I watched one of them intentionally kick over my cans of bug spray and fogger then blow them out into the grass. If I had a choice I would definitely fire them! They are a horrible company. Very disrespectful workers.

I wish I could give this company negative stars. My neighborhood HOA hired them to handle the community landscaping but I am not really understanding why. Their workers are horrible - disrespectful to personal property, always knocking over my solar lights, leaving trimmings on my driveway, mowing the grass after four days of rain and ruining it by riding the mower over it and ripping it out, leaving bold spots on the lawn.

Today I finally had enough after one of their workers intentionally DOUSED my cat with weed killer (poor thing was soaked in it) and then laughing in my face about it, telling me that "it only kills weeds." To my dismay, the person is also apparently the SUPERVISOR of the crew in my neighborhood. Crabapple, we need to talk.

Horrible service. They are lazy and do not have even general knowledge about pruning or landscape maintenance. Watch your personal property. they moved and broke my daughter's wagon and went to extreme measures not to pay for a little girls wagon. They are irresponsible and rude. I would never recommend them.

Sloppy mowing job, poor weed management, trimming flowering shrubs at the wrong time and they top it off with poor customer service. They sound great when you first talk to them, then nothing that happens to your lawn is their fault and they can't fix it now - you have to wait until next fall, next spring - whatever. In the meantime, the problems get worse. Update: 4/29/16 I spoke with 3 different people at Crabapple about my concerns and issues - Michelle, Jackson and David and I don't feel any better about the service.

We have since moved our chemicals (fertilization, weed and insects) to another company. When I let Crabapple know, they said we were just fertilized so keep that in mind. When I told them I didn't see any sign of fertilizer on our shrubs, they agreed they made a mistake and we were not fertilized after all. This is very typical. They don't seem to know what they have done and can't tell me when applications or services will be performed.

After asking about trimming shrubs for weeks and getting the answer "soon", half our shrubs were trimmed yesterday and no one came back today. They are in our community 2 days a week, so I guess I'll go for at least another week with half my shrubs trimmed and half untrimmed.
