Have been working directly with Gene at FloraTerra over the last 9 months and as our HOA property was in a major decline due to lack of oversight by Board have found FloraTerra extremely willing to meet, walk property, offer suggestions and working with us to minimize water waste; while handling much needed irrigation repairs best suited for our overall property.
We value their leadership and design approach for future renovation of our property to be very reliable as we are working on a 3-5 year long term plan. All their workers have been extremely professional and taking the necessary COVID-19 measures when on our property. We feel we have found that long term landscaper to partner with us as we work toward a more environmentally friendly urban forest and landscape.

I have been having some serious landscaping issues within the common area of my housing development. My friend recommended his personal friend who is a landscaper. He came over to my home, did a very thorough analysis, and found many problems and issues that were not being met by the current Landscaping Company. When he told me the price in case I could do the job myself, it was more than I wanted to spend--besides, it was in the common area and the responsibility of the Management Company.
I was not aware that he did not work for himself. Instead, he told me that he worked for Flora Terra out of San Jose. He also told me that his company did large Associations, and gave me the number of his direct supervisor. After speaking with the supervisor, he told me to call the Main Number to the company, which I did. I spoke to a nice young lady, upon whom I reaped praise for the first guy that I'd met.
She told me that if I thought he was good, wait until I met some of the other Landscape Leaders, as he was NOT the best of the group, as good as he was. She then put me in the voicemail of the person whom I should speak with regarding setting up a meeting to go over scope and cost. A week and a half later, I still have not heard back from this person, so I called just a moment ago. Sadly, the person to whom I spoke wasn't very professional in her greeting; then she hung up the phone on me. :( I immediately called right back, explained that someone had hung up on me, that I hadn't received a call back in over a week and a half, and that I was a homeowner who had the ability to get them into the door to quote out a large, very nice, housing development in need of a new landscaping company.
She made a sarcastic remark to me. And when I asked why it was that I had yet to receive a call back from their quote person, and that I thought they were being unprofessional, she also hung up on me. Well, there goes my dealings with them. :( I guess they're raking in the money wherein they don't want to even hear me out. Someone else gave them One Star, I'm also giving them One Star! Their worker in the field knows his stuff, but the back room sucks. No thanks.

This complaint is over the drivers, not the first time i have come acrross from them, i gues we have the same schedule from when i drop mu oldest to school, i was driving down san tomas this morning, 9:15am, and a company truck with plates 4Fz7049 was driving so wrecklessly jumped on my lane out of no where, made me almost hit my next car, we all had to merge to the right almost causing a huge accident for me and my 1year old.
Not enough i was behind them and they continued to drive so wreckless. I can just imagine the type of work they must do. they need to understand they represent their company when they are driving those big additions to their trucks. Called office to.complaimt no answer. If they dont know how to drive they shpuld not be put there. Putting people in danger.
