We decided long ago when we opened our doors that we would focus our energies on creating gardens that would marry our client's dreams and ideas with the site tangibles running tandem with our attention to every detail and our ever present guiding hand to create the magic. We are so fortunate to work with highly talented craftspeople day in and day out all year long to bring our many gardens to life and with wonderful clients who believe in the process. It is an educative journey. A lifetime of travel and our wide ranging educations have informed our highly personal and integrative design process.

We designed the garden for year round interest. The cascade created by the three Pee Gee Hydrangea on center with the brick herring bone path is reminiscent of New England vernacular design. The old french rose growing above the garage door is as beautiful an arbor as could be imagined. The May- June rose display is breathtaking.
There are three parts to this classic English cottage garden tucked along 34th Street in Georgetown. The garden surrounds a 200 year old historic house. It is a small house and at one time there was an attached barn. Our client restored her lovely old house and we restored her garden which now encircles the house on three sides making the property and home feel larger.
A beautiful 4 acre property on Nantucket became the site for this magnificent garden. Our client wanted to be able to pick a fresh bouquet of flowers every day. Organized beds with native plantings, vibrant color, white hydrangea and a vegetable/herb garden. We planted drifts of color following the English color wheel theory used for perennial borders, meadows under high bush blueberries, sweeps of wild flowers, field stone stepping stone paths, more meadows, orchards, native trees, the largest collection of hydrangea on the island, over 10,000 perennials and shrubs, a wedding walk of white Emile Mouillere macrophylla hydrangea, a hot color garden off the kitchen, a New England stone terrace, a 350' long x 15' wide perennial border stocked with perennials and shrubs to fill vase after vase each and every summer day.
We created an experiential garden to engulf the senses with fragrance, views and water sound. We endeavored to connect our client's garden to the house using a graceful combination of engineered terraced garden levels, plants used for their architecture and soft clouds of plantings including areas of native plantiings for butterflies and birds.
