Vega's Landscaping

This landscaping company is excellent! We are pretty difficult to please and the staff took our ideas and generated a gorgeous computer image of exactly what we were looking for! They are artists! Everyone we've dealt with has been extremely professional. They've worked with us as we've added and changed things along the way even though it forced them to adjust their time on site.

They thought of issues relating to saving trees, shore front, water, electrical and drainage that saved us to e and money in the long run. We are extremely happy with what they built for us last year-it's a show piece! We have them back this year to do the rest! Thank you Vega's for being awesome! Below is the before and after.

Vega's Landscaping just this week completed work on our front yard. Very well done! The crew was prompt, professional, courteous and completed the work in less time than I anticipated. Best of all, my wife is extremely please with the quality of work. I highly recommend Vega's!

We had Vegas install additional berms and refresh our current landscaping. It was a larger project which they finished in one day with a number of crewmen. From the beginning it was a pleasure working with Samantha on the design and contract process. She gave us her honest professional opinions. She was also on site and help make on the fly adjustments as plantings were installed. We had a great experience with Vegas and would use them again. We wish we had worked with Samantha and the Vegas team the year prior for our patio install!

They finished our patio, landscaping, and put in a drainage system for the side of our house in September. The work is exceptional especially our patio, it's really a work of art, we love it. Their guys were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The drainage system on the side of our home was a big concern for me and it works great. No more water build up and this was getting worse every year. So I couldn't be happier with their work. We certainly recommend Vega's landscaping to everyone thinking of having landscaping work done in the future.

Highly recommend Vega's! They just completed a large retaining wall and stone staircase project for us, and we couldn't be happier. Very high quality work with attention to detail. From the design to execution, the whole team was a pleasure to deal with.

Upgrades to my tired looking front yard were done to perfection. Hard workers. Owner Alex is very meticulous.

I started shoveling my driveway and I minding my own business when this older mexican guy(dont know his name) drove passed, stopped and helped me remove the snow from my driveway. I did not ask him for help and he didnt ask if I needed help. He just did it outta the kindness of his heart. He seems like a great employee. Thank you very much for the help.

Alex and Samantha are fantastic! In the spring of this year, we contacted Vega's for landscaping work that we needed to have completed. Samantha came by and listened to us and answered questions and concerns that we had. She was great and one of the nicest people we had dealt with in this process. About two weeks later, our sprinkler system backflow busted and water was shooting out and flooding the side of our home.

I did not know how to stop it and repeated calls to our sprinkler company, who installed our system, were not answered. I called Samantha hoping she might be able to help me and sure enough she contacted Alex(Vega's owner). He was in a meeting and left the meeting and rushed over to our home in Aberdeen to take care of the problem. I had never met Alex and what an amazing thing that he did for me without expecting anything in return! That alone should tell you how respectable this company is. Louis and Armando did amazing work for us and they were so professional. Vega's, Alex, and Samantha are the best!

We love these landscapers! We have used them for all of our landscaping. They always do an excellent job. Samantha the landscape designer is very friendly and always aims to please. The men who come out to do the work are also kind and courteous and always clean up after they're done. I would highly recommend them.

In the Fall of 2019 we had a fairly large landscaping job performed by Vegas Landscaping of Valparaiso. I wanted to take a moment to commend them for their professionalism, work ethic, efficiency, and the high quality of the plants, boulders, mulch, and stone they provided for us. They also expertly buried our downspouts all around the entire home.

We even had an old metal basketball pole on the edge of the driveway which they graciously removed and hauled away! The circumstances of this job were a bit unusual, because the birth of our fifth grandchild coincided with when the work was scheduled. That meant that for most of the time we were going to be nearly 1000 miles away in Washington DC while the Vegas Team labored on our premises.

This did not phase them in the least (I'm guessing that they probably preferred not having someone constantly looking over their shoulders). In any event, it was actually quite a wonderful experience to fly back into Chicago, drive home to Valparaiso, pull up into the driveway, and see that the job was well on the way to being completed. The team prepared beds around the entire exterior of our home, installed the proper protective material, expertly planted dozens of healthy and beautiful plants, and topped the whole job off with the artistic placement of some large boulders, attractive mulch, river rock, and flat paving stones.

In short, my wife and I could not be more happy with the outcome. I did not mention the extra hours that Samantha put in prior to the actual completion of the job itself. She took the time to expertly render detailed computer graphics showing how things would ultimately appear once the work was completed. Even though we changed our minds on several of the details, Samantha always remained supportive, patient, and professional.

If you are considering getting some landscaping work done, it would be well worth your while to sit down and talk with the Vegas Team. I have lived in Valparaiso since 1972 and the experience we had with them was one of the best we've had during that entire time!
