In 2003 at the age of 16, Joseph D. Masciovecchio started his dream of becoming an entrepreneur and opened up his company "J&D Landscaping" which was known as "J&D Snow Removal and Lawn Care" in the early days. A hardscaping project is an investment, it takes time to plan, coordinate, budget, design and so much more. It's a process that has many steps, given our experience and expertise in the Hardscape industry and our passion for efficiency we have digitized much of this process to help provide customers a better experience even before their project starts.

The company started by focusing only on lawns and snow removal. However within the first year of business, Joe realized that he wanted more of a challenge than simply mowing a lawn or pushing snow.
An ideal starter patio, this 10' x 10' patio is perfect for sitting around a fire pit or as a casual outdoor seating area. Great for condominiums and smaller yards. For homeowners who are looking for a casual hangout area, this 15 x 15 patio with curved corners provides a simple but functional area to relax.

This is the second time that I have used J&D Landscaping to do a major project at our house. The first was a large patio and walkway, and a 60' retaining wall. This second project was an additional 60' retaining wall to terrace the yard, the installation of a sump pump and downspout drainage system, the restoration of a paver sidewalk, and a significant regrading of our front and back yards.
The things that impressed me most are how hard the team worked, how meticulous they were with the details, and how they cleaned up every day. They shaved every block that needed a tweak with a diamond bladed saw and aligned every block with a mallet such that there are no rocking blocks or gaps between blocks. Perfection was their only acceptable outcome, and they achieved this goal. I would highly recommend J&D Landscaping. Thank you, Joe, Nick, and the rest of the team!

Hello - J & D Landscaping is very professional, efficient, and pleasurable doing business with from start to finish. After comparing several estimates, we decided to go with J & D because the initial consult with Joe was very positive and we had previous experience seeing their work at a co-worker's home. The price for the overall project was a little more than what we had in mind but it was within a reasonable range for the work involved and we felt that J & D were the right people for the job.
During the design phase, Joe worked with us to execute our backyard patio project. He uses an elaborate website for all project management so it's clear to see and understand what's going to take place. He met with us numerous times in selecting stones and in answering our questions. It was also helpful to see the 3D renderings when selecting stones and envisioning how the final project would look.
After waiting several months, when it came time to execute the project, a very large crew arrived with heavy-duty equipment and all the supplies. Project Manager Nick oversaw everything and was very easy to get along with and was accommodating when we made slight changes to the plan. The team would always arrive early and stay on task. The execution was very efficient and smooth especially in coordinating truck deliveries of the materials. Overall, the project was mostly completed in two-and-a-half days.
Because we were installing other structures in addition to the patio, J & D had to come by a week later to finalize everything. In the end, we were very pleased with the way things turned out. Everything looks amazing! We would definitely recommend J & D Landscaping for your home improvement project. Thank you Joe, Nick, and the rest of the J & D crew!

J&D Landscaping exceeded our expectations for our patio and fire pit. From the beginning, Joe was quick to respond for an estimate and help give us ideas for our backyard project. He was professional and willing to answer any questions we had leading up to our start date. We are so happy with how our project turned out! Nick and his crew did a great job.

We were very pleased with the work J&D did. We had them remove a concrete patio and replace it with pavers. The process was seamless from initial quote to completion. Both Joe and Nick were extremely responsive to our questions. Nick's attention to detail during the installation was much appreciated. They also were great from a clean up perspective. We live our new patio.

From start to finish J&D Landscaping was very professional and there workmanship was top notch. From Joe working with us in the beginning on the design and stone selection to Nick and the crew getting the job done. Even with some unforeseen issue the project came out some much better than I even imagined. They have definitely earned return customers from us. We already have more projects to talk to them about.
