Progressive Irrigation

During one of our recent snow storms their plow truck driver ended up behind me. We were at a stop sign and I was waiting to go, and as soon as I was clear I started to ease out slowly because of road conditions. Apparently this was not fast enough for their driver and he proceeded to honk at me and throw his hands up. After we started going down the road he flashed his brights on his plow at me.

We then turned onto ormond road. He was a ways behind me because he got stuck at the 3-way stop. Ormond road is a 45mph zone and he managed to catch up to me from a few hundred yards back. This means he was likely going 10-15 over the speed limit in bad road conditions all because he was in a hurry. When he caught me he proceeded to tailgate me. When we turned onto M-59 I got into the turn lane to head east and he slowed beside me to stare me down.

Totally unprofessional! Looking at their other reviews I am one of a few that have had issues with a driver from this company. I would never recommend working with a company like this, and it seems their staff has a reputation of having a bad attitude. Tell your driver to slow down before he gets himself or someone else hurt. If he's a good plow driver he should know better.

Progressive got frustrated with me on the phone after they had 3 visits and a 4th planned to complete a simple blowout. They asked me "Is this going to be a problem?" I don't know, is it? Why would you need to come out 4 times to get it done right? Not a total bad review because we've had a 5 years with them and no issue. Moving on.

They are great! Staff very polite and professional. Easy to setup appointments and great communication. Technician (Jeff) showed up on time, was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all my questions. I have a fairly large and complex irrigation system. This is the only company I trust for routine maintenance and any eventual repairs.

Chris was timely and thorough. He made excellent recommendations for the spring to improve sprinkler coverage and reduce water waste. I have been using Progressive as long as I can remember. I highly recommend them.

Initially i had a great experience, professional and knowledgeable. I am in a new build, irrigation was installed without removal of existing landscaping. After install and payment, I didn't hear from anyone. I didn't know if the system was working properly, i had to manually adjust all 50+ sprinkler heads myself ect. Sod was installed the next Wednesday, and when i called to have them check the system and look at a few problem areas they wanted to charge me $80.

Keep in mind i payed over $1k more than other estimates i had gotten because i though i would get better service. $5800 for my system and wanted a service fee to check it! Moral of the story, go with the cheaper price, they aren't better than the competition.

I have been using progressive irrigation for many years including have my whole sprinkling system installed by them. They turn my water on and off every year and repair any They may have broken through the winter. Last week Jim H and Sebastian C Came to start up my system and discuss replacing a zone with Misters. They were very professional and have answers to all my questions, gave me a quote for the new work and will begin soon. Thank you progressive for having such great employees working for you! Awful experience! Told scheduler I had a problem with one of my valves. I knew the number of the valve that needed to be replaced. The service guys replaced other valves that they said were bad, but never replaced the one that was bad in the first place. They ran out of valves to replace the first valve I needed to be replaced. They had to leave after three hours of suspect work and told me I needed to schedule another appointment to come back and fix the rest.

I told them don't bother. You don't pay for bad work twice. I called the office and told them I would pay for the service call and the parts, but not the bad labor. I was told they would credit me $100 to come back out and finish the job. The credit would not cover an hour of labor. Would never recommend this company! Stay away!

Had Jim and Sebastian to my house today to fix some sprinkler heads. They showed up on time and were extremely professional. They took the time to show me how to use my system. Great company and even better technicians!

AMENDED Comments to my previous review below: Progressive winterized my sprinkler system yesterday and did an excellent job as usual. They showed up right on the scheduled time, were very polite, and finished the job quickly and efficiently. I really like dealing with this company. Progressive was just at my house for the first time to work on my sprinkler system, and the service was fantastic!

He showed up on time, was very friendly. He asked if I wanted to walk around the system with him or have him just handle it all on his own. I choose to walk around with him. He explained everything to me in detail as he was working on the system. He also provided tips that I could do to help prevent problems in the future. In areas that he found issues with the system, he clearly laid out options for me, and provided solid recommendations. I never write reviews, but the service was so good in this case that I felt compelled to tell as many people about it as possible. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Progressive came to winterize our sprinklers today. They were on-time and extremely friendly. Their customer service is excellent! They are sending someone back out to our house to make sure I didn't undo the winterizing after I accidentally turned the water back on to the system after they left. They have my business from now on!
