Pollack Brothers just completed our new front walk. The original walk was 40+ years old and was in desperate need of replacement. Some of the challenges were the elevation changes in our property and working around existing plantings which we wanted to keep. Bob Pollack met with us several times to understand our needs and properly assess the design and construction issues.
They enlisted a landscape designer to develop a design that exceeded our expectations and dealt with the challenges of the topography of our property. We elected to install a wet laid bluestone walk with bluestone steppers. The project also included a complete rebuild of a flat stone retaining wall that integrated with the walkway and landscape lighting.
The Pollack team arrived early each day and put in a full day of hard work, and maintained the work site at the end of each day. Several changes to the original design were necessary due to our property's landscape, and Doug Pollack helped us work through those changes early on in the process. No surprises! In the end, the project was completed as scheduled( I was a project manager- I know how rare and challenging this can be) and my wife and I are elated with the finished product. It was a pleasure to watch them " do their thing" and super easy to work with them Thank you, Pollack Brothers!
