My name is Rob Deits and along with my wife, Terri, we purchased a beautiful home in the Napa Valley in a community called The Napa Yacht Club. Our home is on the river with a beautiful water setting that is extremely deserving of an Outdoor kitchen & bar to enjoy the ambiance. After a couple of interviews with other outdoor contractors we found ourselves unsatisfied.

So naturally I " Googled" premier Northern California contractors back in October of 2020 during the pandemic. We found Martyn Peachey of JEC Stone out of Petaluma and the response was IMMEDIATE! He offered to come out the same day (a Saturday)and come see what we had in mind. the bond was certainly was there-we liked him from the beginning! He understood our needs & wants-especially after I told him we want "The Wow Factor".

We hit it off from the start, started planning, and moved our project ahead. Bottom line, we have one of the most beautiful, dramatic, outdoor, Bar & Grills in all of our neighborhood! We are the envy of our neighborhood! Everybody and his brother (and sister for that matter) wants to come hang out now! We hired JEC Stone to do redo fireplaces in our house. They removed one completely, and refaced the other with new stone. There was a significant amount of work involved, Martyn and his crew where very accommodating and helpful to figure out the best way to get the work done. The stonework in particular was done very well, I am happy with how everything turned out.

JEC Stone and Martyn Peachey installed a beautiful stone gas fire pit and stone patio in our backyard. We were impressed by their service from beginning to end. We were never rushed in our decisions and the communication was exemplary. Martyn made every effort to make sure we got what we wanted and expected. Martyn gave great input to the design and materials, was prompt with the bid and then they finished the job very quickly with a good sized capable and courteous crew.

The whole project was handled in a very professional manner and it was made clear that they wanted us to be happy with the final project. Martyn quickly followed up with questions we had after the installation as well. We are so happy we did it and chose them. We highly recommend JEC and would readily use them again.

Wonderful to work with! We love our grill area, hot tub area, and updated stone patio and water feature. Martyn did an excellent job of sourcing vendors for our new windows, front door, and garage door. JEC Stone completed the construction of our outdoor kitchen island and we are extremely happy with the final result. After having spoken with several local general contractors, we felt JEC Stone was the only contractor with the expertise and flexibility to help us on our project. Martyn and his team are true professionals who were able to navigate through certain obstacles and brilliantly solved problems that we had unintentionally and unknowingly created by purchasing a DIY module kit and appliances ourselves from another third-party manufacturer. Martyn and his team were always on time, communicated with us often throughout the entire process, took the time to explain things to us, and answered all our (often dumb) questions.

Their attention to detail and the quality of their work were fantastic. In addition, we were very impressed with Martyn's network and connections, who were also highly-skilled, friendly, and efficient contractors. We are also grateful for Martyn and his team for being able to meet a tight deadline (We had the outdoor kitchen island ready in time for our daughter's birthday party!) The outdoor kitchen island turned out to be more beautiful than what we had hoped for and we could not be any happier. I would highly recommend JEC Stone and hope to work with them again in the near future on another project.

The beginning of the project of repairing steps to entry of house was a cost estimate, listened to what I wanted, and used materials that were apart of the old steps. They worked on Saturday and were on time. I asked for some new items on the job and they were able to make adjustments. They added special touches to the project that only made the job even better than what was asked for by me.

The workers never took a break but put energy and workmanship into their work. I love their personalities and caring that they put into the project. It was repairing steps not really of big project for this company but they made me feel that it was important and wanted to please me. I knew what I wanted done and they rose to my expectations. I'm writing this review on a General Contractor that I've used several times and have found the rare find indeed. We're all looking for a General Contractor that will do what he/she says and at the price quoted. Rare, maybe impossible you ask? Yes indeed. But finally someone that knows the art of listening, professionalism and honesty. Finally!
