We are a little like the Post Office: neither snow, nor ice, nor winter storms can keep us from maintaining your property. Yes, that is me at 3 years of age pulling weeds, and then me at age 4 raking leaves and putting them in wheelbarrow. When I was little it was amazing because I give a little effort and my grandmother would be so happy.

These guys are at my apartment complex and blew leaves and dirt literally all over my vehicle so much so that it is on my roof, all over the hood, and completely surrounding my wheels. Not sure why they targeted my car, but now I have to go get a wash and hope that there is not any damage or I will be calling my lawyer. Paint repair on a $50,000 Lexus won't be cheap.
If you needed me to move my vehicle (even though it was in my driveway) then I would have done so no problem. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate. I would never use these people.

I am Chairperson for the landscape committee of our HOA in Versailles Ky. We are a 9 building, 36 Unit neighborhood with approx 5-6 acres of lawn. We contracted Diamond Landscapes for 2018-2019. Hunter Bozwell was the contact person for our contract. If I could give a lower grade to this company than a 1 I would. First of all, the two years were plagued with poor communication.
Time and time again Hunter would not respond to emails, texts and even phone messages. When we signed the original contract, Diamond required we make the payment for our mulch in February which we obliged. We didn't get mulch until mid July, days before our area was devastated by a terrible wind and rain storm. Diamond installed the mulch with a machine, (mounted on a truck), which blew the mulch onto the ground.
Much of the mulch came out more as a mulch dust than anything. Mulch covered window sills, brick, patios, porches, and plants. The mulch on the ground was uneven, with mounds of mulch in places and bare spots (no mulch) in other areas. Upon our request they did come back and attempt to level the mulch and make a more even coverage. We had requested the mulch be applied in the form of a donut around trees however it was done in the form of a muffin top.
Again upon our request they came back and fixed the mulch around the trees. I should also add that Diamond had indicated that prior to mulching they would use a machine that would create a nice deep, straight, clean, edging around the beds. They used a weed eater. When we complained about the edging, they did come back and improved it, but said they couldn't use the machine they had originally said they would use.
When asked why they were so late in the season applying the mulch, they said they had just purchased this piece of equip to apply mulch and were waiting for it to arrive. We told them never to bring it back here again. In our first contract year with Diamond, we had purchased the 26 mow package. 2018 turned out to be a wet year. I think it was early September that Hunter sent out what looked like a form type email.
The first one or two items addressed in the email were administration related, for example they had hired a new financial person. Tucked in the middle of the email was the notice that they had already surpassed our contracted number of mowings by 2. They ended up exceeding our contract number by about 8 mowings. Diamond to their credit adjusted the mowings for us and we split the difference and paid for 4 extra mowings.
This was an example of poor communication on their part. In the fall of 2018, Diamond was to aerate and over-seed half of our property. Once again they failed to do what was agreed upon. They only aerated a very small portion of what they were supposed to do. They blamed it on poor internal communication on their part. I told them not to bother completing the aeration and over seed.
I didn't want to pay them for something that probably wouldn't be done right. Our HOA considered terminating our contract with Diamond but that winter we met with Hunter and he assured us that they would do better the next season (2019). 2019 however brought more of the same. In order not to prolong this review, I will say the two biggest issues we had in 2019 were as follows: Read your contract carefully.
We signed up for a "28 mow package" for 2019. Because of trust issues we had a homeowner keep count of mowings. Our count was lower than Diamond's and they informed us that it is not mowings but service visits which might just be as simple as picking up sticks. Once again Diamond was to aerate and over seed however they didn't do it until mid November.
I contacted 4 of the UK County Extension Service agents and they all agreed that it should be done by the end of September. Even another large landscape contractor that I contacted said they would never over seed later than the end of Oct. These are just a few examples. I could have said more. Needless to say we weren't happy with Diamond.

Critical: Professionalism They do not care about how they do the job as long as the job gets done. just washed and cleaned my car and now it has all sorts of stuff all down the side of it where they blew it all over my car. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. They do not care about other peoples things just how fast they can get the job done.

I have been the only property manager for over 20 years on a 100 acre retail property worth 185 million dollars five years ago. It was our goal to be the BEST. We took great pride in our investment. I have worked with Chris the owner of Diamond Landscape for the vast majority of those years. Hunter has been there to assist in resent years. I have had a great relationship and confidence in both.
We were always challenged by owners to take it up another level from year to year. Diamond Landscape has always met the challenge. The crews were always efficient in their tasks which grew over the years. From landscape, seasonal flowers, redesigns, adding more from year to year. Then install of Christmas decorations and yearly snow removal. I was very hands on with each service and watchful.
If there was ever a problem it was soon taken care of with a call to Chris or Hunter. They have won neighborhood landscape awards in the area with our property. I always enjoyed when customers or visitors would track me down to ask what landscape company we used, pay a complement on the way things looked or ask about a particular plant or flower they had not seen before. It has been a GREAT HELP to me over the years to have Diamond Landscapes to depend on.

The crew they have for blowing leaves in commercial properties parking lots blows mud from flower beds onto vehicles with their leaf blowers. It just rained and there is mud 360 around my entire car from top to bottom. Branches were blown under my car and I had to lay down in the parking lot to pull them out from under my car in my work clothes. Absolutely unacceptable and can damage peoples vehicles. Called the office no less than 20 times in one day and no one ever answered the phone lines.

Update from 10-4-19 they are completely blocking my car in with their truck so I can't leave. Went and asked them to move it, nothing. Still blocking my car. The workers from this landscaping company took up four spots right in front of my apt. Blocked the entire half of the lot when we already don't have enough parking spaces. Completely inconsiderate. Anyone already parked on the other half of the lot is trapped there because if the idiotic way the workers parked. This is at post oaks apt complex.

I was visiting my family at an apartment complex on Taylorsville Rd in Louisville. Their crew was using blowers, one of which is high powered. They were blowing the debris, including leaves, sticks, pine needles, gravel, and mud in the parking lot all over the vehicles including my new $60k truck. I became very angry and let them know about it. They laughed. If you own a business and want to have damage done to patron's property and possibly your own, they're the ones to hire. absolutely not!
