The company I worked for was having an issue with a company that wouldn't respond to any way we reached out to them. We tried calling, certified letters, reviews on their website, customer request on their website, reviews on google and yelp. I even told them I would go to the BBB and they still wouldn't do what we were asking. So I reached out to BBB and the whole issue was resolved withing about 7-10 days (which included a holiday).
We finally was able to get the resolution that we had been asking for since 2/2022. Thanks to BBB for helping the other company to acknowledge our request and getting it done.

BBB was fast and efficient in getting my complaint resolved. They kept me informed from the time if submission and promptly notified me when a resolution was available. Based on my experience with the company (not BBB) that was the subject of my complaint, I thought the process would take forever, but BBB was able to get a response from the company in 24 hours or less. BBB informed me that although I am satisfied with the results, if I have additional issues or the company doesn't fulfill the resolution as promised, then they would continue to work on my behalf. I am satisfied with their advocacy and recommend anyone having issues with a company to utilize BBB.

Better Business Bureau of Columbia, South Carolina I really appreciate the service of the BBB in helping me resolve a problem with a business providing service and a business providing a product. In each complaint BBB was instrumental in providing information and a means to file my claim. It was amazing how promptly the businesses responded. It made a believer out of me that businesses' rating are important and that businesses are concerned about keeping favorable BBB ratings.

I want to extend my immense gratitude for your BBB office's handling of my case. After months of hitting one brick wall after another, it is your efforts that appear to have made the difference. Lexington Medical Center billing would not change a medical code for an insurance claim. This resulted in an erroneous bill to me. One that I did not owe.
They sent the bill to bill collection despite my efforts to resolve the obvious error. Once your BBC office received my complaint, the error was resolved in a matter of days! The LMC resource center representative responded positively and professionally to the complaint. She actually listened and understood the nature of our complaint. She investigated and resolved the internal coding error that was causing the billing problem.
She is know resubmitting the claim with the correct medical codes that my insurance expects for the authorization LMC received. She has pulled the billing collection action back. It may take several weeks to financially settle the billing resubmission to my insurance company. However, at this point, I feel like the matter will be resolved satisfactorily. I only wish I had come to your BBB office months ago to get this resolved. You cut through so much red tape in record time! Thank you so much!

I'm writing this review to commend the BBB, for the wonderful way they handled a problem I had with a AC company in which I was a member. The company collected membership fees monthly, but when it was time for them to make a appointed service call, they were a No show. This happened 3 times in a row and I called the company to voice my issues and cancel membership, the tech on the phone said, I'll get that cancelled and she said by.
I was like "Wow", she showed absolutely no sympathy or remorse. I forwarded this info to the BBB and within 2 days the companies owner called me and apologized for their not showing up and, he gave me back all my membership fees, and did I say, they apologized, well they did! Thank you so much for helping me. Im telling everyone if you ever have a dispute, call BBB!

Thank you thank you BBB. I had an issue with a Doctors office trying to scam me out of money I didn't owe them. I tried to resolve it for over 4 months with no luck. I contacted the office and my insurance company and could not get the office to do the right thing. So I decided to seek help with the BBB. I filed my claim one day and the next day the doctors office called me wanting to resolve the matter.
They all of a sudden decided that I didn't owe them the money they claimed. Thanks to the BBB I finally got it resolved. The claim procedure is super easy. The BBB is on point with communication. If you have an unsolved business issue I would definitely recommend them to you.

BBB is an excellent way to resolve conflicts with businesses when you have tried on your own and failed. It is free and a highly respected mechanism in the system. They have successfully mediated a couple issues for me and I am most grateful. Make sure you are keeping documentation to support your claims.

The BBB helped me get into a better relationship with a company that I felt were not providing excellent service. Me and the other company were not having good communication and the BBB helped me get an understanding with them. I highly recommend to use the BBB if you are dealing with a company that you believe might be dealing unfairly.

I filed a complaint on a particular business through the BBB in February. That same day, I recieved an email from BBB explaining the process, meaning, the complaint goes to the business and the business would have until a certain suspense date to respond to the complaint. Throughout the entire process, I received emails periodically from a Team Member from the BBB keeping me abreast of the status of the complaint.
And I had to keep them informed too, ie if I heard from the business that I filed the complaint against. Ultimately the case was resolved satisfactorily and closed. If you have a legitimate complaint against a business, don't hesitate to file a complaint with the BBB, it makes the company that you have the complaint against accountable especially if they're in the wrong.
