On 1 April 2020 I bought eight Picea Norway Spruce 4/5' tall and on 2 June 2020 I bought 2 more. Mark gave me the planting instruction and several fertilizer nuggets to place around the base prior to back filling the hole. I followed the planting instruction as advised and watered several times a week. Marks' instruction indicate the importance of the first two weeks.
The ten spruce looked great for awhile, they even had light green growth shoots on the end of each bough. As the summer progressed I watered them as needed if it did not rain. In August some of them started to loose their needles. I went back to the nursery on 23 September 2020 and talked to a lady, she advised me that I need to buy Holy Tone and follow the instructions on the back.
I added this Holy Tone as instructed to all of them. As we got closer to winter 6 of the ten had bare patches with no needles. In late winter early spring of 2021 3 of them had completely died, 3 had a small amount of needles on them and the other 4 looked ok. These 4 did not have any light green growth on the ends. I called Mark on 9 March 2021and told him that 6 of the 10 had died and the other 4 look really bad.
Mark told me that this was my fault because I did not follow his strict care instruction. I told Mark that I had other evergreens planted right next to his and they are doing fine with the same care provided to them as his trees. Mark talked to me like I was a child and told me that this was my fault, how could I even think about asking him to replace these dead trees that I paid $1,600.00 for. Let the pictures speak for themselves, you be the judge of quality evergreens from his competitor vs his.

This is one of those places where you want to rave about them, but you don't want anyone else to know! They have items the box stores don't carry or are out of stock. Great local business, yet just a few minutes up Rt 125 off exit 7 on Rt 101. Include them in you choice of places to obtain your landscape needs.

Extremely knowledgeable with excellent customer service. Quality of plants and other products is exceptional. Very friendly and always willing to take the time to help me. I see people commenting on staff not wearing masks however, you are outside. There is an outside checkout shed making it very easy to social distance. There are signs up throughout the nursery reminding people to social distance and free (surgical quality) masks are available. Clearly, the owner cares about the staff and customers. Thank you for providing a comfortable place for people to shop this year!

I loved the nursery and the help provided. However, I was very bothered that none of the workers were wearing masks. The person helping us was within 6 ft and I kept backing up. Paying requires less than 6 ft. Great nursery, but very disappointing on masks during this coronavirus. I would have given more stars.

Larger than it looks. knowledgeable staff. huge adjustment of plants/ trees. reasonable prices! Can't say enough about this place! I've been driving by for years and finally stopped in today, as we've been considering planting some trees along our driveway. It is SO much bigger and more diverse than I would've thought. The owner, Mark, is extremely knowledgeable and passionate! Highly recommend!
