Shout out to Roe Nurseries here in Oshkosh for their stellar work today. The guys who came were not just knowledgeable and hard-working but they were nice. And they cleaned up after themselves which is always great. I loved not digging and doing my own work cause they are much, much better than I am at this whole landscaping thing. We'll add the dark green lattice and the peonies got cut back and moved to the around the corner. But it was a perfect day for landscaping and they did a perfect job. Thanks, Roe. Highly recommend!

Bought a Red Maple and an Ash tree from Roe Nursery. The Red Maple is still kicking 12+ years and running but the trunk is horribly twisted and the bark is half off? As for the Ash tree that thing wasn't right from day one. Planted in the fall the first spring gave us a Charlie Brown looking thing with hardly any leaves. Roe sent someone over they clipped some branches and gave us another season of warranty.
Next spring even worse. They sent someone out and they said maybe some winter kill but no more warranty. By this year maybe 10 leaves on the tree. We cut it down. What a waste of $.

My family purchased a Saucer Magnolia from Roe Nurseries last year. When they came to deliver the tree it was in poor shape and looked dead. I mentioned this to the installers. They said that it looked like it had buds on it and proceeded to plant the tree. After a few months of watering like they told us to do there was no change. The tree was obviously dead when they planted it.
We had Roe Nurseries come out to look at the tree and they said they would replace the tree. After replacing tree with another Magnolia they told my family that if this tree did not survive the season they would not warrant that tree and that they would allow us to pick out another tree. Well the winter went and low behold the Magnolia did not survive.
We called Roe Nurseries and now they told us they won't replace the tree and that we would have to purchase new tree and they would plant tree for us. This is unacceptable service. We were told that we could get a different tree free of charge. I would not recommend Roe Nurseries to anyone and will take business elsewhere. I'm now out a tree and the money because they are not willing to replace the Saucer Magnolia with a different type of tree.
