I have had an A+ experience working with Ryco for the past decade on many project at many properties. I have chosen them for design, build, maintenance, and overall property advice. They have hit home runs on all our projects and my wife and I could not be happier. They can handle everything from small project to large scale and complexity. You'll be happy you chose Ryco. I used Ryco for design and maintenance for my home and was enormously pleased with the result. I have referred them to many people without any issues.

Called for a quote for some potential landscape design. The lady took my information, put me on hold for 5 minutes then came back and said they don't know when they will be able to get a quote done. I asked for a possible timetable and she said she didn't know. Not sure why she couldn't lead with that instead of taking my information then making me wait on hold. Took that as she looked up our address and didn't want to do the landscape project.

This company is very professional. Not only do they do incredibly beautiful work, they stand behind what they do 100%. We had a nightmare situation with an outside contractor with them and RYCO went above and beyond working with us and the other company to make everything right. Also, the landscaping just gets more beautiful every year! Definitely recommend!

Account manager was very professional in regards to assisting with my parents' recent outdoor living renovations. Continued to contact and check up on the project once hardscape and planting had finished - that shows consistency and great follow up. Outside of that, the project was done on time and looks great around the new hot tub. I am glad they were able to deliver a great product for my retired parents.

Absolutely awful experience with Ryco - poor quality in every aspect. They performed a "spring cleanup" for us - quality of work was appalling and we were astounded they could leave the property looking the way it did. Terrible customer service experience as well. Pricing is outrageous - highly recommend seeking other companies.

During the 5 years we used Ryco, they did sub par work. They would bill us for work that was never completed and then decided to double prices! When asked for an explanation as to the huge increase in pricing, they simply stated this is current pricing, take it or leave it. Needless to say, we don't use Ryco anymore!

While I agree with some of the earlier reviews about Ryco providing great service, recent performance over the past 3 months differs significantly. Our homeowner association has a AA-rated contract with this company and while it started with great service, management has pulled way back on ensuring customer satisfaction. Escalations to the Account Manager, General Manager, Vice President, and President of Ryco seeking correction to contract violations have all gone unanswered.
The violations include weeds and crabgrass in the turf, weeds in planting beds, and poorly trimmed shrubs and bushes. As a result of non-response, we are undergoing a review of other more-reputable service providers. I would prefer Ryco return to providing quality service, but it appears there is a lack of desire to do so.

The worst landscaping company I have ever experienced. No supervision on site. They pulled out ground cover planting season that had been growing for 11 years, pulled on my wife's annual flowers, my wife accidentally found that the landscapers had left our hose running for 3 days and when my wife emaile Kevin the project manager she never received a response from him or anyone else at Ryco. Stay away from them. Bad supervision and not knowledgeable workers.

We switched to Ryco after having so many other companies let us down. Colin and his crew have truly helped our home become fantastic. I have referred them to everyone I know without them letting me or my friends down. They handled design and maintenance for our home without a hitch. For my friends they rectified a drainage issue they were having. Thanks Colin and Team.

We solicited bids from three landscaping companies that specialize in hardscapes. Ryco and one other contractor came out twice and spent a lot of time analyzing the project. The third contractor came out one time. The design is fairly complicated, consisting of an upper patio, a lower patio and a gas fire pit. All three landscapers proposed stairs connecting the two patios due to the steepness of the grade.
The third contractor never gave us a bid. He said he did not want to do the gas fire pit. The first plan (not Ryco) looked reasonable, but the bid was for strictly pavers, and not an upgrade either. The patio is bordered by thick, dense woods. I kind of felt like strictly pavers would look too neat and clean next to the woods, so I was not thrilled about it. Ryco's plan stood out.
It took about 3 weeks from the time the designer came out to seeing the completed plan. It was so worth the wait! Natural granite bolders were proposed for a retaining wall on the lower patio. The fire pit came out of the bolders with almost a camp-fire look. There was still room for a table on the lower patio. The upper patio was sized for an oval table with six chairs. Ryco patiently waited for us while we considered incorporating a waterfall from a different contractor.
The designer allowed us to make changes to the plan without a fuss to accomodate the future water feature and made the modifications quickly. The project started late in the Fall and finished before it snowed. The steps between the two patios were manually cut from large pieces of natural stone. Cutting and placing the stone steps was the most complicated part of the project.
Two upgraded pavers were selected for the two patios; an interesting reddish paver for the upper patio blended well with the siding and a natural-like paver of a complimentary color was used for the lower patio. The price was on par with the other contractor (slightly more) yet the design was in a different class. I highly recommend Ryco for hardscape design, but similar to all landscaping contractors who are very busy due to the competitive nature of the business, be prepared to wait patiently for the proposal to be completed.
I am glad we did not rush it because the design created a retreat-like setting and we couldn't be happier with it. Mike is a top-notch landscape architect and Ryco is lucky to have him.

I called Ryco about two different properties I have. The person I talked to on the phone was great. She was throwing out some ideas and answered all my questions. I thought I had found the right company. Unfortunately, after that phone call nothing happened. They never gave me a quote, never called me back, and I've been forced to look for other options. Update: I called them one last time and was able to set up service. However I found there service to be lacking and it was more then I wanted to pay. I've since cancelled my service.

Horrible! Summer grass cutting was done way to fast. Left uncut grass and tire spin out tracks everywhere. Winter snow plows tore up grass all over our association. This was worse than normal plowing damage. They plowed into yards tearing up chunks of dirt and grass. They were also spoken to at association meetings about their practices and within a week or so Ryco was back to their old shotty ways. RUN, RUN AWAY!

This must be a common problem. I asked an architect aquaintence and a general contractor for recommendations. They both said call Ryco. I sent them a plat of survey of my home, I met with them to go over the project, then they dropped off the face of the earth. After 6 weeks and an occasional response to my e-mail, I have given up. Being in the construction trades, it must be nice that they are that busy

On Saturday, I was so frustrated that I emailed the president of this company because he was on the email directory and I felt that he needed to know about his customer service. He promptly emailed me back for me to call him, but I didn't want to because they had already lost my business. I did get a call on Tuesday; EIGHT days later from the person I originally talked to apologizing about me slipping through the cracks. But too little too late, if they forgot a potential customer, what would happen if I was already one?
