We had a small patio installed by Kimicata Brothers. Our backyard is a typical city yard, difficult to access and not a lot of room to work. They came up with a beautiful design that worked just right for our small space. The estimate they provided was extremely detailed so I understood exactly what I was paying for. The whole crew was careful and respectful and cleaned up everything when they were done. I would absolutely work with them again.

Our experience with Kimicata Brothers, Inc., was very positive and we cannot recommend them highly enough for any level of full-service landscape, design-build, or maintenance wants you need done. Recently Kimicata Brothers completed two landscaping and paver installation projects at our residence, and we have been delighted with both the process and the results.

I would highly recommend Kimicata Brothers Inc. They too such care and were very detailed with the installation of our irrigation system. Everyone was highly professional and they were always here on time and very responsive with any questions I had. I couldn't be more satisfied!

Kimicata installed landscaping in both our front and back yards (including hardscape and irrigation). They met with me, took into account the things I desired (scented roses, butterfly and bee friendly, color as long as possible, annuals instead of perennials) then designed the perfect garden! Work was well done, staff were professional and kind, cost was reasonable for the volume of work performed! I am very happy with them, my garden and it's been a delight. We were very happy with their work on our retaining wall. This seemed to be a difficult project based on access and proximity to our neighbors trees. The wall looks great, they were quick and professional. Brian was very easy to work with, explained everything thoroughly, and was quick to respond to questions. We are very relieved to have this project taken care of smoothly.

Thought I chose the right company to install new sod. Their website states that they pride ourselves on our commitment to exceed your expectations. Their commitment to quality service throughout and following your project. This definitely has not been my experience! What a disappointment! Awful experience!

While the company has a long track record with beautiful work for my family, the most recent interaction with the owner left something to be desired. My family has worked with Kimicata Brothers for many years, referring them to neighbors, friends, and other family members. They do beautiful work. When a family member had a patio project completed by a different company, Mr. Kimicata approached this person quite confrontationally.

He recommended that my family take ALL of their business elsewhere, indicating he no longer wanted to provide the continuous services his company had provided for many years. I was so disappointed that after many years of a professional relationship and an appreciation of the work they do, that my family was treated so poorly. I will be following Mr. Kimicata's recommendation, and also referring new business elsewhere.

Kimicata Brothers installed a retaining wall for us. They did a great job, especially with managing the significant slope on our property. They explained the process as it unfolded and the work was high quality.

Had them replace a number of cracked pavers, and then clean all pavers, remove and replace sand on a more than 300 square foot patio. The work is excellent (patio has never looked better), and Brian was as professional as they come. Highly recommend!

Kimicata Brothers did an excellent job on our landscaping and the entire team was incredibly professional, efficient, quick on responding, and timely with the job. They helped us with water issue that came up during some unrelated construction and did an excellent job with that part of the project as well. I would highly recommend them for any landscaping needs and plan to use them going forward for future jobs.

We have used Kimicata Brothers for over 30 years starting with the installation of a patio using pavers to improve an unsightly back yard and landscaping a steep hillside in our Highland Park home. We are very pleased with the most recent project where Kimicata Brothers installed an irrigation system, installed accent lighting in the front of our home, as well as updated our landscaping along with the spring clean-up. Paul provided great and useful suggestions for plantings as well as provided suggestions for installing the irrigation system without being too disruptive to our property.

We also use Kimicata Brothers to handle all phases of the ongoing maintenance of our lawn (fertilizing, weed killing and cutting). We have found Kimicata Brothers to be highly professional and knowledgeable in all our interactions. Paul, Jocelyn and the entire crew are easy to work with, respond to all requests and questions quickly, and do a great job. Jocelyn was thorough and detailed in explaining how to operate the irrigation system.

She also has a keen eye in the placement of the accent lighting giving a soft look and not overdoing the lighting to the front of our home. The most recent job, as well as all other projects we have undertaken with Paul and his able crew, were completed quickly and to our satisfaction. We have found Kimicata Brothers to be honest and fair in all business matters. We highly recommend them for all your landscaping needs and plan to continue using them for ours.

We have worked with Kimicata Brothers, Inc. on an annual basis since 2009 and will continue to do so. We have hired them for services ranging from lawn maintenance, installation/maintenance of our in ground irrigation system, hard scaping, landscaping and, to our current project, installation of a wood privacy fence. Paul and his crew are always professional, courteous, on time, patient, helpful, easy to reach and accommodating. We have received many compliments on both the form and function of their work. Paul, Jason, Jocelyn and the entire crew at Kimicata Brothers did an excellent job on a very detailed project that spanned repairing a natural spring creek, installing tons of stone, planting new beds, freshening up existing beds and constructing a stone bench. We had several bids, but went with Kimicata for their experience, knowledge and design for our back yard.

They listened to my concerns and installed plants that I personally enjoy. Having a Victorian style home, I wanted the new project to compliment our home and it really adds to the cottage feel we love. We are very pleased with the end product and have already scheduled new projects with them for the spring.
