C and D Landscape Co has been servicing my yard sprinkler system for a number of years. They are always quick to remind me about the need for a back flow test. I love it that they report directly the the city with the results of the back flow. Also they check the system and repair pipes and sprinkler heads, or made adjustments to direction of sprinkler. Very easy to contact and always prompt to take care of regular maintenance as well as emergency repairs.

I have used C & D Landscape to both create a beautiful landscape around our home including rock walls, a waterfall, an irrigation system, fencing, and the development of plantings and grass. I have also used C & D to repair decks and stairs built by another contractor. They were wonderful. We continue to use their maintenance program to keep the weeds down and to mow our lawn. They are a knowledgeable and first class business in all ways.

I've been working with C&D for over a decade, spanning multiple projects at two homes during that time. Projects have included retaining wall design & construction, lawn & irrigation installation, planter beds, landscape lighting and fence construction. All projects were completed on or ahead of schedule. They deliver outstanding results, are flexible and accommodating with designs, and have been exemplary in their professionalism and dedicate to customer satisfaction. I consider them the standard for landscape design and construction in the PDX metro area, and I recommend them without reservation.

C & D's employees were wonderful from start to finish on our yard project, including removing our old grass and placing new sod, redoing parts of our irrigation system and getting it all up and working properly again, weeding and refreshing our paths, putting fresh bark in, and redoing our pond that didn't work. They were able to come back and help us with some other smaller projects later on, too. Great company to hire!

I am extremely happy very pleased with the work that C and D did on my custom fence. The people that originally bid our custom fence backed out at the last minute one week before an event that we had planned. My wife called C and D landscaping they had mentioned they have a construction company that does decks and fences and they would be happy to bid our custom fence.
The gentleman came out within 24 hours and bid the job we received the bid in less than 24 hours we told him our situation and he was able to get our job completedThe next week. The bid was very very reasonable. My wife and I are extremely happy with the work that they did. They went above and beyond the bid they were professional I'm going to try and include pictures for the fence they built because I am so proud of it.

We had a very good experience with C & D, and I really enjoyed working with them. I would give 5* excepts we had a problem at the start, and unfortunately weren't briefed on what to do if we had leaking over a weekend. HOWEVER, as soon as they found out the problem, they took full responsibility, paid our plumbing bill and fixed the problem. A good company.

I would give this company a one star, but they attempted to work with me when I called and told them I was disappointed in their workmanship. Then they quit returning my phone calls or emails. I can NOT in good conscience recommend this company any longer on where to spend your hard earned money looking for good lawn care. I am ending a 15yr relationship.
We had an irrigation system put in and a full landscaping plan done when we owned a house across town. It was a sizable lot around 9000sf. They did a great job and honored the bid after they realized they forgot to quote a piece in the landscaping. Skip ahead to a year ago when we purchased a considerably larger house with almost 20K sf of lawn with an older irrigation system they put in for the previous owner that clearly hadn't been refreshed.
I asked for a bid to refresh the system, using their expertise to change the heads, move a few as necessary, lift them if necessary, and even showed them where a few heads were leaking that we wanted replaced and where one we wanted moved. This was in conjunction with a spring start up of the system. They quoted me and came out to do the work. I had to point out, again, the head I wanted moved and assumed the one I pointed out that was leaking last year was fixed.
The system ran for a month and the head that was leaking last season was still leaking this season. I took a picture and sent it to the company and they sent the same guy out to fix it and he charged me an hour labor and parts! When I called the office to inquire feeling I got double charged for something I asked for in the first place, he called and said his boss made him call and he stands behind his charge because it wasn't leaking bad enough when he saw it.
I could call the office and dispute it if I wanted. It was a spring start up and there wasn't much water through the system yet. I called to dispute the charge and was sent to voice mail and no call was ever returned. I called with disappointment with my lawn towards the end of the season because my grass was brown except in the places where the heads were watering.
They had not been lifted, adjusted, etc. The more I watered the greener around the heads, but 80% of my lawn did NOT green up no matter how long or often I watered. That's when I tried to call and see if I could get a resolution or credit of the money I spent that did absolutely nothing and that's when they stopped returning my phone calls or emails.
Their integrity has disappeared from 15 yrs ago. This is sad. Mother Nature has filled in the grass and there are only a few patches that did not come back that I'll have to reseed, but don't spend your hard earned money on your irrigation from these guys.

C&D Landscaping has been an amazing find! I first used them to put up our Christmas lights for 2018. They were so reasonably priced and reliable, and efficient. They were completely professional from the manager of the project to the individuals doing the labor. I was always in amazement, given my poor experiences with at least a half dozen other landscapers over the past six years, how reliable they are.
I always received a cost estimate on time and it was always very thorough and detailed. They were also very willing to work with you and had a great deal of flexibility. I am so delighted to have someone so professional, reliable, and pleasant to work with.

I have sold my home in McMinnville. I will miss not working with the C and D team-Greg, Tony, Michael and their crews. And when I put my home up for sale, Jeff mowed my lawn & a small field. My acreage was kept up around my house which I attributed to the successful sale of my property. We all became good friends. Thank you for a job well done!

We chose C&D to maintain our large property several years years ago. They manage our weekly landscape maintenance as well as annual landscape architecture projects, including hardscape, lighting and irrigation. Our grounds are aesthetic and well-groomed at all times due to the professional services of C&D Landscape. It is truly wonderful to have a company servicing your property where you simply have no attention on anything other than enjoying your home and property!

C and D has performed work for several times. From retaining walls, to landscaping, fencing and Christmas Decor, they've shown themselves to be professional, courteous and proficient in all areas. We have called on them numerous times and will continue to do so for maintenance and additional projects. We believe they're the best in McMinnville. Reading past reviews makes me think they've gotten much better since 2016.

This has got to be one of the worst companies I have ever done business with. If there were an option to give them no stars I would. A couple of weeks ago, I hired them to reconstruct my front yard. From day one, I was skeptical about them doing any further work. After going through the biding process, not to mention numerous E-Mails, and In person meetings with the owner.
I thought we had an understanding on what my expectations were (clearly that wasn't the case) Next, I put a deposit down and within 2 weeks they started working on my yard. Unfortunately the quality of work was terrible. There were a lot of cutting corners, and promising things that they didn't follow through with. One of the things on the list was to go around the property, and repair and /or replace any warped boards, top caps etc. plus re-stain the entire fence.
We also had them build a new gate, which came out terrible. They attempted to fix the gate 3 times and finally I told them to leave it. The staining job was horrible. The colors were different. This was due to using new boards in some places mixed with ones. I had asked if they had pressure washed them first, he said no we don't do that, unless asked.
I was highly disappointed. This fence was built over 9 years ago, and has not been attended to all this time. For the price I paid to have them mend and stain the fence, I could of had a new fence built. When I brought this up, he said it was my responsibility to tell him. I said it was his, as he's the professional. Throughout the whole project, all he was concerned about was getting paid and moving on to the next job.
He was very argumentative with us, anytime we questioned or complained about the work being done. In the end we were left with unfinished work and about 6-7 brand new plants that he promised would have a year warranty that were dead already. There are to many issues to list here but we were assured these things would get done and weren't. We received an E-Mail from the owner saying that he's written off the remaining balance and credited us for the gate.
He also said "We're square, we'll part ways to not do any more business, and go our separate ways." Now I'm stuck with finding someone else to complete the job, or do it ourselves. I'm blown away that this company is still in business with someone running it like this guy.

We booked them with much anticipation that they would finish up our substantial yard project. They came as planned, but we had to call them back a couple times due to incorrect work. Despite the fact that the problems were part of the original bid, we were told we had to pay for the corrections. It has been a constant source of frustration, as now many of the plants they planted are dead and the grass they replaced is worse than the grass we had in the first place.
None of the water problems were fixed despite that being part of the initial conversations and bid. While we understand that everything isn't going to be perfect, we expected more courteous service and an attempt to make things right. They sound good and look good up front, but beware that they will take your money, do the basics and blow you off after that.

Truly the worst landscape company on planet, they agreed to service including irrigation system operations and upkeep, fail to maintain irrigation, kill thousands of dollars of my plants, irrigation guy comes out after they are dead two weeks later and admits he was only one servicing 1,000 homes irrigation systems and they send me a several thousand dollar bill to replace the plants they killed!

We hired this company to put up our Christmas lights in December of 2016, and paid them about $950.00 in advance. They made and then missed three appointments to install the lights. Eventually, we gave up, cancelled and requested a refund. Although they charged our credit card, they insisted upon sending the refund by check (which we eventually DID receive).
Fast forward to February of 2017: We receive a bill from them for $229.50 for landscaping services in January of 2017. We NEVER hired them for landscaping. I'm not even sure that they came out since we already have a landscaping company. If they did come out, they were just mowing something that had already been mowed by the people who we actually hired to do our landscaping (and who have been working for us more than a year). I emailed them to advise that I would not be paying the invoice and received a response advising that the invoice was sent in error.

The day after I wrote my original review, I received a phone call from Greg at C & D. He told me they would 'put me on the schedule' to have the damage to my front door area repaired. That was 12 days ago. I'm still waiting and haven't received so much as another phone call, though I did get a mailer from them asking us to pay in advance for Christmas decor for a 'discount'. It's pretty insulting when someone doesn't fix what they damaged, and then asks for you to put your faith in them and pay them upfront for the 'next' service when in reality, they haven't finished the 'service' you already overpaid them for?
