Critical: Quality, Responsiveness Impossible to reach and will not return you calls or answer you messages, my landscape that we paid dearly for has turned into is an eyesore since the small plantings have matured into large weed looking plants. I was warned by everyone not to use them but they promised me the moon so lesson learned. Services: Yard landscaping, Stone landscaping, Yard drainage, Landscape installations, Walkway landscaping, Landscaping design, Landscape design

Late, didn't arrive on time. I received the worst customer service that I'd ever received from an employee by the name of Jamie. Totally unprofessional. When I attempted to explain the matter to have it resolved, Jamie just snickered and did not take it serious. I requested a return call from the manager. it never happened. Horrible place to do business

I started using Akehurst for residential lawn services two years ago per the recommendation of my ex. On the outset, the company was eager to please a new client. Some of the pruning entailed removing diseased sections of some shrubs. Some of the diseased shrubs were missed, and two slanted trees which I asked to be stabilized or removed were not taken care of.
The entire season came and went, despite numerous phone calls and emails to Tom. Fast-forward to last year, I asked for the services I paid for the first year to be covered, and I further requested pruning of overgrown bushes abutting the house. Michelle and Tom assured me early on in the season that these services would be completed. Although they no longer took any new residential clients, Akehurst was retaining existing clients.
Later in the season, they completely fell off the grid (though Michelle was apparently not fired until December). Nothing was done. In 2018, those trees and bushes were encroaching even more on my house. Tom informed me two weeks ago that I should have received a letter over the winter that akehurst was no longer servicing residential clients, though my ex, friends, neighbors, and I received no such notification.
Per my promise to post reviews of the type you are seeing now, he assured me that he would take care of the pruning by the end of last week. I needed the work completed in time for an event at my home and had to pay another company to get it done this week since he did not not keep his word. Akehurst may have dropped out of the residential business to handle corporate clients, but be forewarned that this level of customer disservice will transcend all accounts.
