Ted Collins Tree & Landscape

I was riding my bike on Thornell Rd at 9:30 am Tuesday 4/12/22, when one of their drivers slowed down to match my speed to taunt me. They then proceeded to take a very quick, aggressive right turn directly in front of me, narrowly missing the front end of my bike and causing me to slam on my brakes to avoid being struck by their vehicle. A real class act. Are these the quality of people you'd allow on your property for landscaping?

We spent several thousand dollars per year for yard maintenance services with them (lawn care, tree and shrub applications, reseeding, .), but they hardly ever completed a scheduled service on time (or within 3 months of the schedule). The services that were eventually completed were of poor quality, and required additional fixing up. They kept promising that things would be fixed, until the winter came, and then it was too late to do anything. Unfortunately very unreliable.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Value Would never use again.

Not a customer, but I just wanted to say their drivers on the road are very rude. They have no problem pulling out in front of you while you're going 55-60 MPH to drive 45. Even if there's not cars behind me, they can't wait ~10 seconds to not disrupt people and pull out with no one around. Also, they don't know how to drive at a 4-way stop interection and one is like the next intersection from their business. I will never bring by business here because they screw me over on my commute to/from work every 2-3 weeks without fail.

The team was awesome! Professional, thorough, paid attention to detail, They did a great job weeding, mulching, trimming trees and bushes, planting grass, And a great cleanup job! Paul Schwartz your team is fantastic!

Called company for an estimate. They came out, looked at the job and I never received a response back from the company with a quote. The job was a small job requiring a skid steer. It probably wasn't worth the effort to load up the equipment and complete the job but at least they could have been honest in telling me the job was too small rather than just leaving me hanging waiting for a quote. Due to this I will not give this company any future business.

This place is not reliable in any way as my home is on a main road with a bug hill for a driveway ot just snowed 10 inches NO PLOW HAS SHOWN UP AT ALL then it took 6 phone calls just to reach someone and the only thing the manager could say is oh ok I thought all driveways were done.wow then said ok I got a guy in the area well that was 2 hours ago thanks plow guys the worst around if you ask me

If I could have rated TC zero stars I would. They were a horrific company to work with. Despite being very clear I had a $2000 budget to work with to clear part of a hill in our backyard the designer wrote up a contract that made the project appear to be $1800 but when all was said & done it was over $3000. This was even with conversations with the designer making sure I was reading the contract correctly.

In addition, the work was not completed, the correct amount of materials were not ordered AND the overgrowth on the hill returned within weeks. The designer claimed I must be looking at the hill incorrectly. Really?!? When I attempted to talk with the designer he would have nothing to do with me. When I tried to talk to his supervisor, he refused to speak with me. I am choosing to include a picture of what the hill looks like-decide for yourself if I am seeing overgrowth that isn't there. RUN from any dealings with this company.

Couldn't be more impressed with this company. We had a tree down in our driveway, blocking us in. I called for help and they had someone out within 30 minutes to assess the work, and within an hour there was a crew here removing the tree and clearing our path. All on a day when MANY people had trees down because of the crazy weather. The prices were very fair, even in an emergency situation, the guys that came out to assess (Dave and Paul) were both very professional and courteous, and the work was top-notch. I'll be recommending them to everyone in town who needs a great tree service.

Excellent work cut down three large trees in our fenced in back yard. So well done!
