Awful operation and Toll in general should be embarrassed. I moved into a Toll Brothers house a few years ago and within 1 year stated (within the warranty period) a had a dead tree. Toll Landscape sent someone out and they said it will come around. Its now been a few years and the tree is completely dead (look at the pictures). I am not a landscape expert, but compared to the other trees they planted, this one is dead.
I recently called and someone said they would come out and no one has called back or anything. Terrible customer service. I need Toll Brother to take responsibility. They need to come take this tree away and replace. Also, you can see I built a deck and patio. When I got estimates, Toll Landscape was about 7K higher than anyone else. Toll Landscape is a Joke!

I am a home purchaser and resident of a Toll Brothers home at Shelton Cove Shelton CT for nearly a year. The process of buying and and designing our home began in February 2015. For the most part dealing with the Toll Brothers' project manager, design center and now Toll Brothers senior management has be arduous at best. We were misled on many matters beginning with the final cost of our unit.
We were told when asked the upgrades shown in the model were valued at $30k but when we received the upgrade pricing sheets they turned out to cost over twice that amount $63k. Most recently after paying an additional $100k for a view charge we've been attempting to get Toll Brothers to cleanup and landscape the rear of our home without success that can best be described as an abandon logging road. To say Toll Brothers misled us would be a gross understatement. Would never have purchased a Toll Brothers home if I knew how difficult they would be to deal with.

In my opinion, the worst. High pricing, can't get them to finish, refuse to take responsibility for mistakes and bad workmanship. Moving into my new Toll Home, I was pretty much married to these guys as it was presented the job, permitting, and approvals would go easier. HA!. I moved July 2014, the job begun way before that time, and did not "finish" until Mid September.
Simple planting, a small hardscape patio and walkway. My assumption is they were taking deposits to start new jobs and kept on that road. The day they supposedly finished I answered a knock on my door and the project supervisor, Scott, was demanding full and final payment. Much remained to be done. Needless to say, I did not cave, not until the boss, Matt, finally came to the house and we talked remedies.
At that time I paid in full, even though repairs and replacements still needed to be accomplished, and to this day, continue to remain open and unfinished. My recommendation: DON'T BE FOOLED AND BLINDED BY THE PROMISE OF EVERYTHING BEING DONE AND DONE CORRECTLY, BY THE TIME YOU MOVE IN. WAIT UNTIL YOU TAKE OWNERSHIP AND SHOP AROUND. THERE ARE PLENTY OF LOCAL LANDSCAPERS THAT COULD AND WOULD PROVIDE THE SERVICE AND QUALITY YOU EXPECT. If there was a rating of less than 1 star that could be applied, that would be mine.
