Services
Meador's Garden Center & Landscaping stands as a rare and precious landmark in the North Texas landscape. During its eight decades of existence, the store has been passed down through three generations of Meadors and seen countless physical changes, but its spirit remains unchanged. Our experienced staff works to educate the community on all things plant-related.
During the initial one-hour, on-site consultation, one of our designers will sit down with you, discuss what you envision for your property and then draw up a design based on your ideas and budget. After our designer presents you with a design and an estimate, you will have the option to either pay for the plan and complete the installation yourself or use our experienced landscaping crews to install the design. If you choose to have us complete the installation, the cost of the design will be credited back to you.
Our prices are competitive, our experienced staff keeps our plants happy and healthy, and we work hard to find unique plants for the most adventurous gardener. Plus, we are dedicated to helping you keep your plants alive. We have "plant doctors" on staff that will be happy to help you diagnose problems with any plant you may have.
The annuals we carry at Meador's Garden Center & Landscaping vary seasonally so it is best to see what we have in stock by calling us or coming in. We pride ourselves on stocking a wide variety of unique plants; if there is something specific you are looking for that is not listed, call or come in and ask us about it.

We used Meador for a backyard design after a pool build. Marshall was our designer and while the consult and install schedules were pretty packed, we were thrilled with the final result. There was great attention to detail and the 3 guys who installed did such a good job. It's been 3 months now and the plants are thriving. Will be excited to see it in another year when it fills in. I thought their pricing was reasonable too.

This place is not customer oriented. The owner just told me to basically screw myself because 3 juniper Taylor's died that my wife and I purchased from them. No replacement, no store credit. Nothing. and then he's got his little assistant Kaitleen or Kathryn. What ever name is. She was highly unprofessional and rude. Stay far away from these people

I actually found a ginkgo tree, finally. Nice people. A little more expensive than I'm use to, but they have lots of good stuff you don't find at the chain stores. Wide selection of big trees, shrubs, flowers. Lots of native Texas plants. Also very happy about my blueberry bushes I purchased from them a couple of years ago.

An extremely well organized nursery with multifarious plants and trees arranged by type and size. It looks like an exotic oasis out back and the inside is adorned with colorful yard art. Great employees with an abundance of experience and knowledge to be able to answer any questions that anyone may have. Not only do they have a wide array of plants and trees, but they also have a great many pots of all different shapes and sizes.
If you normally go to a mega store or specific chain of nursery.to do your business then I would suggest you stop going to those places ave give Meador Nursery a chance at earning your business. They'll do so and you won't feel anything but happiness that you gave them a chance. Your trees, flowers, and plants will also thank you by blooming extra large year after year! :-
