Construction - OK. Landscape was good but drip just OK. Communication was very poor. Follow-up of faulty construction error was horrible. Finally replaced and it broke again. We paid for the parts, Bruce just had to cover labor of faulty construction, it took 1 year. He promised to fix it the second time. but never did. $600 down the drain on a 60K job.

Could have been worse but the unkept promises are hard to swallow. And still left with a broken granite bar top. Not to mention the broken granite counter top that wasn't installed correctly but why bother to try to get him to fix.

Landcon Landscape Construction really outdid themselves. We bought a reno property and once the inside was done, we needed help with the yard. They overhauled the yards, front and back. We have designated seating areas, a new pergola, and really pretty plants. The curb appeal from the front is just what I wanted.

We wanted to spruce up our boring backyard for a long time. We finally went for it hired Landcon Landscape Construction. They had several beautiful options for us we loved all of their designs. Now that they are finished we wish we had turned our backyard into a mini paradise a long time ago. This is the go to backyard.

I just love the new backyard that we had designed by Landcaon Landscape. The work was done on time and they were very respectful of our property. The transformation from a blah yard to a wow yard is amazing! We are now always out back visiting or bbqing in our new back yard.

I love the work they do so much I've gotten everyone in the family signed on too. This was such a great company to work with I had to share. Now, I'm telling you to jump on too. You'll be happy with it.

The work is amazing. My whole yard looks amazing. A path into a patio that is beautiful and breath taking. I love every bit of it. The green in the beautiful design is perfect. It's wonderful.

The custom work is amazing. I have never been happier to sit outside and enjoying the sun and the beauty of the yard. You'll be thrilled you worked with them. You might also move into your backyard.

My husband and I decided to use Landcon because of their previous designs we had seen. The outcome was beyond expectation.

I had the pleasure of meeting Bruce, Hugo and Jaime while they were working their magic in my brother's yard. By the time that was complete, I felt as if they were old friends and I had no hesitation whatsoever in hiring Landcon for my own yard. Both yards are gorgeous but I insist on telling my brother that ours is nicer.

After visiting their booth at the Santa Clara Convention Center, we knew Landcon was the place that would transform our backyard into the paradise we envisioned. We were right and I find it only fitting that I take the time to say so just now as I am sitting in it admiring it.

I saw Landcon doing stucco work and laying pavers in the driveway of a home in my neighborhood. I contacted Bruce for an estimate. On the phone I very clearly described the scope of services we were requesting. At a high level it was exterior stucco work and the tear down and rebuild of a partial garden wall. He said he was happy to come give us a quote.

When he arrived a few days later he was not friendly to me or my husband and had an attitude of clearly not wanting to be there. It was odd. I walked through the work we were requesting, which was exactly the same as we had discussed on the phone. He took measurements and said he would get the quote to us by Tuesday. By Wednesday I had not heard back so I reached out.

His response was: "We are no longer doing just stucco jobs. And our jobs are only landscaping and hardscaping. Thank you for your interest in my company. Best regards, Bruce" My feedback: please be more transparent with potential clients. If this was not something you do then don't come out and waste our time to take measurements for a quote that you don't plan to provide.

It was very unsettling that over the phone there was a willingness for the scope of services requested but upon meeting and seeing us in person you suddenly don't do that work anymore.

Bruce and his crew chief, Jimmy are simply the best and brightest in the landscape design and execution industry. They killed it in every category- Design, delivering, quality of materials and value. Not the least expensive, though the the best overall outcome and when all is said and done, Bruce is the man! The definition of Professional.

WOW! Simply stated, Bruce and his team do SUPERB work; both big projects and small ones. Bruce completely landscaped our large backyard almost 20 years ago. We've enjoyed it ever since. Recently though, we thought it needed some general refreshing and we called Bruce back. They ultimately took out the old lawn, removed invasive roots from a large shade tree and resodded the lawn.

They also cleared overgrowth and removed plants that were not thriving due to the changing sun exposure over the years with the surrounding trees growing larger. New plants that are better adapted to the yard's sunlight are now in and thriving. Bruce has a keen, creative eye for design; an encyclopedic knowledge of plants; and a team of incredibly skilled, hard workers. If you're looking for a great landscaper, Bruce is the person.

Bruce and his guys did a major backyard renovation for our Eichler. The job involved concrete removal, installation of a yard-wide french drain, a large concrete patio, three large above-ground concrete planting boxes, a Trex deck, steel/redwood pergola, and other odds and ends. Beginning to end was about three months. Pros: Bruce was engaged and helpful during the design-drawing phase.

He came out several times to discuss my designs and was effective in translating them first to basic CAD drawings and then to the actual build. Once things were underway, the crew came out daily and appeared to work hard throughout the day. The project was finished to our satisfaction within the original estimated time. As always, there were addition/deduction items to discuss at the end of the project and Bruce handled that process with reason and professionalism.

The final price was fair and we would definitely hire Landcon again in the future. Cons: Not much to complain of. A couple of times workmen presumptively entered our backyard unannounced (through closed gates) on non-working days to get stuff they had left behind. And some detail work needed to be pointed out. Bruce was responsive to these issues.

One personal pet peeve. I wish the crew would use an Igloo cooler for worksite hydration instead of going through lots and lots of plastic bottles collected in huge plastic bags. A little advance planning to cut down on waste would be a better look. And end-of-day trash pick-up could have been more diligent, with food wrappers left scattered around, non-recyclables stuffed in my recycling bin, and vice versa. But overall very happy with the project. Recommended.

Bruce and the crew probably once upon a time were excellent.but like usual contractors once the main part of the job is done and you have some little issues to be finished.zero follow through and zero communication! Horrible!

Bruce designed and put in our beautiful backyard 14 years ago, including a large slate patio and pergola. It is truly our backyard paradise. 9 years ago, he replaced our front yard, which now gives us great curb appeal. I have recommended him to family and friends, who've been very happy with his work, had him do a project at our school and will call him again for any redesign or advice. Fantastic!

We worked with Bruce and his team at our last house and were very satisfied with the work they did. The job was a complete redo of our backyard which was on a side-hill lot. He and his team installed retaining walls, a beautiful paver patio, a seating wall, and our favorite pondless waterfall ( many thanks to Bruce's foreman Hugo for making that waterfall exactly what we wanted ).

Shortly after that our family grew rapidly and we needed to move to a bigger house. The new owners confided in us that the backyard sold the house for them. The biggest compliment I can pay Bruce is that we are getting ready to tackle the backyard in our new house and we're asking for both his advice and for his services. Very down to earth guy with a comfortable straight-forward approach. We would easily recommend him to any of our friends.
