Called to schedule and spoke with Pete who said Justin would call back. No call after 1 week. Gave them the benefit of the doubt that they were busy and Called again and happened to catch Justin. He scheduled an appt the following week. He was unable to make a 4:00 appt so had to schedule earlier at 3:30 so we both left work early to accommodate him. Waited and waited...and left several messages
NO CALL NO SHOW
Apparently they care nothing about their customers.

This company I would highly recommend to never use them and give them a -5 star rating. They were supposed to winterize my irrigation system twice and never showed up. The first time they never called and claim they came an hour early. They were scheduled to come out after 12 noon and came at 11. I scheduled after 12 noon because I'm caretaking for a person just out of the hospital.
The office guy said there guys thought my system was already winterized (which it wasn't). I rescheduled and was home all day with my garage open so they could see I was home. The rude office guy said they were at my house and no one was home. I advised I was and have been home all day with my garage door open so they would know I was home. I checked that they had the correct address.
I said that was bs that twice they never came. The rude/terrible office guys got mad and said they won't come out again and it was my problem and hung up on me. I would recommend never using this company for anything. They have no regard for dealing with customers.

If I could give them a 0 I would. I cancelled their service back in May. They continued to mow and charge me. (It is a rental property and I live out of state). I left 3 messages asking them to stop service. NO call back and kept mowing. Now they are demanding payment or taking me to court. The reason we wanted to cancel them in the first place is because they SUCK! Asked them to cut grass, pull weeds and keep bushes trimmed. We get to the property and it is a jungle. Don't waste your time!

Worst business practices ever! Had appointment today with no show and no call. Called the service and spoke with April, who informed me she's been "calling him all day. missed his last 3 appointments". Knowing this, they never. Knowing this they never tried to call me and I waited around all day. Called her twice to get updates and first she said "you know how it is" as this maybe normal.
And the second time she didn't even bother to offer me an apology or any other options and then when I voiced my frustration, she hung up on me! Think twice before hiring this company!

We have had a bumper crop of acorns this year. So many that it has been impossible to keep up with. We called around to find a service that would clear not only the leaves, but also the acorns. My wife called Pete's Lawn Care and talked to Linda. Linda told us that they charged $53/hour for a team of two guys with powerful backpack blowers. These blowers would blow the leaves and the acorns, no problem.
They guys showed up when expected and cleared our yard in just over 3 hours. They did a fairly good job, but we're not able to get all the acorns. However, we were pleased with the work. When the bill arrived, we were expecting a cost in the neighborhood of $175. Boy did we get a surprise - they billed us for 9 hours at $53/ hour for a total of $477!
I thought this was surely a mistake. I called the next day and spoke with a guy by the name of Justin. I was told that their rate was $53/MAN HOUR (and that they would never have quoted $53/hour for a 2 man team ) so for a two man team, that is $106/hour (not the $53 they quoted us). On top of that, they charged for more time than they actually worked! Justin was adamant that they would not have mis-quoted us.
I believe it is possible that they said "per man hour", but clearly they tried to mislead us by saying "but the $53/hr is for a 2 man team". Justin finally agreed to adjust their price a little bit, but we still ended up paying double what we thought we had agreed to! We will never use Pete's again. They did a mediocre job and mislead us on their charges!

I take care of my own lawn, but on occasion I will hire a lawn service to do seasonal services such as aerating or dethatching, etc. I was living in Ohio at the time we purchased our house in Spring Lake. The current homeowner informed me that spring had arrived and the yard was full of weeds, so since I was in another state I called the lawn service he recommended (Pete's) and told them specifically to do a ONE TIME application for weeds, after I explained that I lived in Ohio currently and wouldn't be moving in for a couple months.
When a bill never arrived I called to inquire and they told me they didn't do the service because "there was a new homeowner". I explained to them that I was, in fact that new homeowner and asked them again to do a ONE TIME weed application. They did, so I thought, but then weeks later after we had arrived to Spring Lake they showed up one day while I was at work and did another application of fertilizer and grub treatment.
My wife went outside to approach them. She explained that we only agreed to a one time service, specifically, because I always take care of my own yard. The guy there said they just "assumed we would want the same service as the previous owner" and left a bill for around $140 and said we owed him that. I emailed their website that evening, trying to be cordial and even stating that I would still want to use their services for the future (dethatching, aeration, possible snow removal) but that I didn't think it was fair to be charged for a service I never wanted.
A lady from the office called me the next day, was incredibly rude and confrontational. She stated that if I would have said one time only she would have wrote it down. Apparently she didn't. She then said that "we don't do ppls lawns for free" and I replied "I understand, but I don't pay ppl for services that I never signed up for".
She said "Fine, be happy elsewhere" and slammed the phone down. So, obviously I will be using a different service for any lawn care needs I have in the future. This was most likely a simple misunderstanding at best, a clerical error on their part. However, the way they responded was unprofessional. These people are either just poorly organized or scammers who try to force their services on you and trick you into paying them for something you never agreed to.
