Arizona Living Landscape & Design

We recently had a wonderful experience with Arizona Living Landscape & Design. We had them remodel our backyard, which included filling a small play pool and putting in artificial turf. Pete is very knowledgeable and was awesome at helping us figure out a design that worked with our existing landscaping and materials. The cost was very reasonable and the guys were able to finish our project much quicker than anticipated.

They were booked out a little bit, but it was well worth the wait! We are so enjoying our new backyard and would definitely use this company again in the future. Many thanks to Pete, Tami, and the guys for taking such great care of us and creating an awesome space for our kids to play!

Pete and his team did a remarkable job on the construction of our new backyard. They showed up on time and finished well before I had anticipated. I even had additions to the original plans, and they adapted quickly and still finished on time. I had a large turf and paver area as well as an outside kitchen built. It turned out amazing. Pete and his team stayed in constant contact with me and made sure the job was done exactly as I had envisioned. I couldn't be happier to have chosen this company for my project.

Pete was great when he came out to our new build and helped us create our vision and explained everything about how he operates and what they do. Holly and I were extremely impressed by PM Adam and his crew. The guys were on time each day, friendly, courteous and always provided insights just so I could learn (and the timing of the project was exact).

They did such an amazing job on designing and bringing my new build backyard to life in Nov 2019, that I had them bring my "standard subdivision ugly" front yard a much needed face-lift. We love our new and improved yard! I'd highly recommend AZ Living Landscape & Design for your landscaping needs. We were really impressed throughout the entire process - Pete and every single crew member and PM that worked on our project were kind, friendly, and did an excellent job. We have a small, galley-type yard area and wanted to make it usable and enjoyable for our dogs (and for us). AZ Living helped us find ways to be cost-effective and make the most of the small space and now it feels like a real yard!

Pete and his crew did a fantastic job on our front yard. It was old and dated with a few issues that needed to be taken care of and they came in knocked it all out within a week and meet our front yard livable usable and beautiful. The curb appeal of our house has increased dramatically with Pete suggestions, his crew was prompt professional were always there when they said they were going to be and cleaned up everyday to make sure that the neighbors we're not upset with the construction going on. they were accommodating with our schedules as well as our desires for the front yard. As a former landscaper in California I can honestly say that this company is exceptional. For our brand new home in Arizona I did a lot of research and identified a dozen local landscape companies with good online reviews. After sending each a scope of work, 10 responded to my request for a bid. While they were not the lowest bidder, Arizona Living Landscapes were clearly the best value.

After two conversations with Pete and Tami I was sold by their experience, helpfulness and professionalism. Their understanding of what I was looking for was quickly apparent and they were very patient with me as we worked through the design phase of the project. They looked for ways to save me money and placed a higher value on my happiness than on profits.

Their installation crew (led by Adam) was wonderful to work with. They even helped us move our 1000 pound spa! Not in the contract. The finished product is everything my wife and I had hoped for and we will recommend them to anyone looking for a good job at a fair price.

Pete and his crew were amazing! They were quick, professional, and arrived on time exactly when they said they were going to. They were quick to respond to emails or questions I had. When Pete came out originally he did not just give us an estimate but taught us about everything him and his crew were going to do. I would recommend Living Landscape to everyone.

My recent experience with Arizona Living Landscape & Design rates a score of 10 out of 10. I met with owner Pete to give him a rough design of what we were looking for in both our back and front yard. Pete was very patient with us and submitted several ideas for the complete job, calling it work in progress not the final result. Pete prepared a contract at our first meeting fine tuning it to include PVC for the sprinkler system vs, poly and customizing rock/granite and plants/trees to help this project fit into our budget. Pete's wife / admin immediately took Pete's rough draft contract and emailed me a typed final version to eliminate any confusion. Tami was very helpful in helping us pick plants/trees as this was not our expertise, including locations.

THE CREW, Adam the Project Manager and Ryan the Foreman on the job kept us in the loop every step of the way to insure we would be happy with the final product.

The rest of the CREW was very respectful and courteous. Even if the landscape was to the owner Pete's design Adam & Ryan would ask once laid out if that was what we anticipated. Stating that "sometimes things look different on paper then the actual finished product". That gave us a chance to move things around, which we did before pavers were cemented in, bushes/trees were planted and artificial turf was laid.

The back & front yards are truly a paradise and turned out even better than we anticipated. We interviewed 8 landscape companies and can save others from going through this process by going directly to Arizona Living Landscape and Design!! They cut to the chase and do exactly what is requested and exceed expected. Project was completed a day early and clean up was pristine leaving the street and sidewalk cleaner than when they started.

Pete and his crew did an outstanding job on our backyard. When Pete came over and was quoting me for the job, I knew he was the right choice. He was very professional and he was the owner of his company. I didn't have to wait three days while the middle man went back to his boss to get a quote. Pete told me it would probably be a couple months before he would be able to start because it was the busy season but to my surprise he called two days later and ask id he could start due to a break in his schedule.

When his crew arrived they were very professional and I could tell right away that the foreman George knew what he was doing. The results were fantastic and I would recommend Pete and his crew to anybody. My wife and i enjoy our new backyard so much! Thanks Pete and Crew!

I give them 6 Stars. Everyday on time. Did what they said they were going to do. The crew were hard working and creative with odd shaped boulders. I liked their initiative to do something different. Pete the owner...good guy and is great to work with. Will have them back for the next project.

Pete and his crew just finished our backyard & we couldn't be happier! He didn't try to upsell us like the first 2 quotes we got, he listened to everything we wanted and executed on it perfectly. We've only lived here 6 years and still haven't fully developed that trusted network of contractors, but we'll be keeping Pete in our contact list for future use!

After moving into our newly built home and living with a dirt backyard for months, our family was beyond excited to finally be getting a yard. Our expectations were high, but Pete and his team delivered above and beyond. He was actively involved throughout the process; checking in on the progress and staying in communication with us. He listened carefully to our ideas while suggesting his own, creating a combination of both and ultimately a superb looking backyard.

I would recommend this company to ANYONE! Pete came to our home on a Saturday and spent an hour or two with us going over the design of our backyard oasis, gave us great suggestions and ideas on what would give the look we were trying to achieve. Once we decided to move forward with the landscaping, his crew showed up at our home first thing in the morning, the day after Christmas.

His crew was amazing. They worked fast and efficient. Our yard was done within a few days and what a great job they did! When they were finishing up, they noticed a small leak in the drip system. They dug up the drip, found the issue and fixed it. You could not even tell that they had to dig up the rock and grass, the work they do is very impressive.

Once our oasis was complete, to see the yard lit up at night with all of the lights on the trees is truly breath taking. This company has one quality that I think is the most important, professional. Being professional to your clients is a very important quality in a successful business and Arizona Living has it. More importantly when our oasis was complete, it looked just as we visioned when talking to Pete.We plan to use this company again to redesign our front yard as well..Great talent, fast, efficient, knowledgeable, professional, friendly.

I had my new house built about a year ago and still needed to get the backyard landscaping done. I hired Arizona Living Landscape & Design to design my backyard. Pete, the owner did a wonderful job helping me come up with the landscape design and a great job managing the whole project. His crew did an amazing job through out and cleaned up after the job was done.

My calls and texts were always immediately returned. Pete was kind enough to give me two additional flower shrub because they deliver the wrong color shrubs. I talked to four other landscaping contractors and decided to go with Arizona Living Landscape & Design because I felt Pete knew what he was talking about, gave me some great advice, he was honest and the price was reasonable. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
