We are delighted with our beautiful backyard designed and executed by G & L Design. From start to finish the project was carried out with professionalism, and tremendous attention to detail. The Senior Designer, William Moss, listened to what my wife and I wanted, and drew out a beautiful design. Dee Skolnick, the owner of G & L, personally oversaw that Bill's design was executed so that what was drawn on paper was beautifully brought to life.

Sharon, Ashlee and Dee worked on our quote, the design, the timing and execution. We are very pleased with the work and recommend this team to help your landscaping issues. We have a challenging hillside and stairs and irrigation that they came in and helped us solve. Excited to see the growth over the next few years.

We used G&L to fill in our spa in the backyard and do some hardscaping for us, they were exceptional from start to finish! They were able to accommodate us right away when we called, showed up on time and were very reasonably priced. We were able to start work the following week which stuck to the original schedule and ended up looking great! The guys worked so hard every day and were all so nice, we love our new backyard and would definitely recommend them to anyone!

G&L did a great job setting expectations, helping us choose the right plants, repairing/replacing all the sprinklers and installing. They adjusted quickly when we had a bunch of concrete underground that needed to be removed and the change order was reasonable. We've had a few of the installed plants die but they've said they'll come back and replace them. It's so nice to have a beautiful yard!

G & L Design team did an amazing job of installing pavers, decking , plants , irrigation and decorative walls. They were very easy to work with, they explained everything clearly. Dee came by to check on the crew and made sure that we were informed of the job that took about 4 weeks to complete Sharon, at the office always took the time to coordinate ,.
We looked at other companies to do the job but we were unhappy with either the pricing, the quality, or the customer service. With G& L everything went smoothly and it was an easy choice for us. I highly recommend going through them if you want quality work done!

G&L did really beautiful work for me, and I am extremely happy with the results. My backyard was just dying grass and they did a combo of landscaping and hardscaping, installed a flagstone patio and stone steps, veggie planters, citrus trees, hedges, and irrigation for everything. The work was done quickly and efficiently, and they were very thorough.
Now I have a beautiful backyard and I spend time outside every day! I would give 4.5 stars only because the communication was difficult at times, there were a couple missed meetings and I had to stay on top of the details. But I think that's common with any contracted work. Overall, the work was done fast and well and I would use them again. Thank you so much!

G&L had quite a job in front of them when looking at our backyard renovation. It was old, taken over by trees, full of weeds almost 5 feet tall, and terrible old concrete! They completely TRANSFORMED this into a beautiful, modern, and economic space. They deserve credit for TWO projects because our dismantling the first was difficult. We had three major trees stumps which were very hard to remove, and required all knew drainage and plumbing.
They were able to make the trees look as if they never existed, and implemented a draining system that channeled out into our front lawn. Our front lawn looks as if they were never there. The attention to concrete, planter walls, surrounding walls, and the additional fence was very detailed, and they did a fantastic job creating a two level planting structure where one did not exist.
The design process was fun and easy with Mike and Dee, and we really appreciate the automatic watering/ lighting system they put into place (which we didn't even ask for!). We relied on their expertise, and they created a wonderful open and sophisticated space where we love to host friends and family!

I couldn't get other companies to come out and even look at it let alone remove and replace old sprinkles. Dee and company did a total rehab of my sprinkler system. They kept on what was good and only offered to change what was needed. They made all the adjustments needed so that I could reduce the time needed to water my vast scape. Solid communicators and I'm a stickler for service. I will definitely call them back for the pool and deck rehab work I have planed in the near future.

We found G&L Design and Landscape on Angie's List and setup and appointment with their designer Mike. Mike came to our home and was wonderful, he listened to our ideas and flipped thru our Pinterest pages to get an understanding of what we wanted. He came back with the most amazing concept, it was like having our dream translated to paper. Now we are working with Dee and Sharon and every day we come home and see the progress made has been incredible.
They have been very communicative thru the whole process and patient as we tried to make decisions. They have built us the dream front-yard/backyard we have always wanted. To say we were close to tears after landscape lighting turned one no exaggeration. They have elevated the entire look of our neighborhood. We highly recommend that you contact them for anything you need before going elsewhere, I know we will definitely use them again and already have had friends call for consultations.

We always kept the window coverings closed to avoid looking at it. Thanks to you, the drapes are now open! We previously had an ugly cement slab for a patio, and our neighbors deck, covered by trees, for a view.
You came and suggested staining our deck, worked around our trees, and gave us a beautiful yard. The sprinkler system you set up kept our yard green and lovely through a summer of water restrictions. When I called the ofice Sharon was always kind and helpful. Thanks again for all your help!
