Creativity, craftsmanship, and quality are the principles on which we pride ourselves: they inform and inspire our work on every single project. From the very moment when we begin your project to the instant that the last truck pulls away, our teams remain respectful and courteous of your home and property. All crew members will appear in clean and tidy Stonepocket wear, use respectful language, and keep a clean job site at all times. Stonepocket implements a no smoking policy that forbids crew members from smoking on or in close proximity to the site. A high code of ethics is required from everyone that comes onto your property: after all, we are your guests.

Over the years we have learned that it is hard to achieve expert level at every aspect of craft, technical skill and artistry that goes into a creating landscape. This includes grading, drainage, paver driveways, pools, dry-stone masonry, gas lines, low voltage lighting, stone patios, plant selection, carpentry and other areas of tradecraft. When we encounter a project that requires expertise outside our skill areas, we bring in the best local tradesman/woman available to ensure that your project is done to our standard of excellence.

Tim designed and installed a complete landscape plan for the front yard of our custom designed home. We went with Stonepocket after talking to several designers. We were very impressed with Tim's unique design sense and liked him as a person. He listened to what we wanted and came up with a great design that fit within our budget.

My name is Tim Heelan, and I founded Stonepocket in 2002. Being outdoors is central to every aspect of my life. Like many of you, nature is where I receive inspiration - from building outdoor spaces to botanical drawing, kayaking, hiking and camping with my family. Many customers and friends ask where the name Stonepocket originates.

Since I was a very young child, I have loved the outdoors. I am still very active in a variety of pursuits that keep me outside, enjoying nature year-round. On any given weekend, you might find me camping, competing in a triathlon, or kayaking. Drawing and building are also long-time interests--so it's probably no surprise what happened when I decided to combine my passions into a career. I became a landscape designer, and have loved every single day of this incredible work. The fact is that I couldn't have done it without you.

Stonepocket's goal is to become your personal landscaper for your property, servicing your every outdoor need. To begin, we'll start with helping to design your creative vision, whether it includes installing patios and pergolas, landscaping gardens, or crafting the finishing touches of lighting, furniture and art.
