The design contains the vision that determines the success of a project. The lack of a design plan can be compared to a house without architectural plans. The end result is unknown until the task is completed. But by then, not only may it be too late to correct, it will cost more to fix. It is better to put the time into developing a design before picking up a shovel.

The design process can be elusive to most. But in reality, there are design elements and principles that all good design adheres to. These rules guide our work and are applied regardless of the project scope.

After the design phase is complete and your cost proposal is finalized, we move into the build phase. The build or construction phase is when we start to see dirt fly and the vision of the design comes into reality.

Whether your project involves an outdoor kitchen, overhead structure, pool, paving, irrigation, lighting, fire features or planting, we strive to keep abreast of best horticultural practices and construction methods as they become available.

Good maintenance not only means proper use of fertilizers, trimming and plant selection but also means keeping the design intent in mind.

Understanding the design goals drives the decision on how a plant should be trimmed or if it even should be. It determines plant selections for pots and annual plantings. It includes having a good idea of the vision of the full grown look of the garden.
