Neighborhood Landscape Development LLC offers a wide variety of services. We are full service dirt works, with black dirt and seed or hydro seeding services. NLD offers complete irrigation service, with full installations and maintenance on big or small projects. We love doing entertaining areas for friends and family with BBQ’s and fire place areas as well.

More and more homeowners are installing Permeable paver projects to help direct rainfall away from storm sewer systems and lakes so they go back into the natural ecosystem. The pavers used in a permeable installation look very similar to traditional pavers, but are made with extra space between them so rainwater can flow back into the earth below, instead of running off the surface into storm sewers and lakes. Special materials are used in the permeable base and joints to encourage water to flow through.

Neighborhood Landscaping Development has a long history in the Lakes Area.
When NLD was started in 1995 by Scott Nelson aka Skip it was out of need, the need for a skilled and trusted Landscape/Maintenance company in the beautiful lakes area.
Scott had been involved in various projects prior to NLD while working with his father's construction company. He noticed that when they were done building new homes/cabins he would see other sub contractors come in and finish the shoreline, landscaping and irrigation systems. So one day Scott picked up the shovel and bid on a shoreline project and won it! Shortly there after Scott formed Neighborhood Landscaping Development LLC. The rest is history as they say!
These days Scott still picks up the shovel to get the job done but now NLD also has some of the best equipment on the market to get the job done, on time, and with as little disruption to lands and shorelines as possible. What this means is that the client can spend more time relaxing, enjoying their lush green grass or their new Paver patio.
