Plush Landscaping

Plush Landscaping provided me with excellent and prompt service. Also, it's a breath of fresh air to get someone on the phone to answer questions. I would highly recommend Plush Landscaping to my family and friends.

If you are looking for professional landscapers who know what they are doing, put the effort in and do as they promise, stay away from Plush Landscaping in NJ. They took care of my lawn last summer and part of this summer (we parted ways recently). All they did last summer was cut and apply chemicals, and that was decent enough, though communication was awful, I never knew what they were doing and when, and had to chase them for my fall clean-up, which was included in my contract price, but quickly and conveniently forgotten until I requested it.

This year, I tried to get them to do a bit more landscaping maintenance also - weeding, trimming, pruning. Many promises and guarantees were made and I was told I was getting the landscaping maintenance "Cadillac" - have the e-mail to prove it. In reality, I did not even get a Kia. They showed up regularly, cut my grass quickly and then left, doing little else.

I was told that this is a PROCESS and I need to be patient. and. nothing continued to be done notwithstanding my follow-ups and inquiries as to why my weeds were 4 feet tall. I would call and text and remind them, then they would spend 30 min, miss/ignore 90% of the weeds and run off to the next job. I would follow-up again and be told that they will come back to finish, but. no one ever came back to fix the issues or do anything as promised.

To make matters worse, these so called "professionals" cannot even tell the difference between weeds and groundcover flowers. As such, they destroyed a 16-20 square feet area of beautiful groundcover flowers that I really liked. When I requested that this mistake be rectified, they planted 6 completely different tiny (about 3-4 inches in diameter) plants in this entire 16-20 square foot area and I was told to "wait for them to grow out and cover the entire area that was destroyed".

When I said that this was not acceptable and that more needs to be planted, I was promised that this would be done (and had to remind of that several times) and. of course. it never did get done. Perfect example of empty promises that this company's owner (Pete) likes to make with no intention of ever doing what he promised. Bottom line - regular billing, nonexistent communication, clueless and careless workers, MANY MANY promises and explanations, but ZERO actual result.

I am going with another full time professional landscaper (who does not double as a real estate agent) and suggest others do as well. I almost never write reviews, but felt compelled to do it this time to help others avoid making the same mistake as me.

Plush has been my landscaping company for appoximately 8 years. Pete's quick responsiveness and professionalism are unsurpassed. He has always been a pleasure to work with. I have recommended him to multiple family members and friends throughout the years.

During the past year, Plush Landscaping has completely re-landscaped our lawn and gardens, including installing irrigation and correcting drainage problems. We have been satisfied with the work and would recommend them to anyone who wants to have a beautiful yard.

My wife and I cannot be happier with the job Plush Landscaping did with our front and backyard remodeling. Your team showed up on time and were very professional through the entire job. The Pavers you installed is the talk of the neighborhood!! We cannot thank you enough for a job well done!! Thank you.
