I found Ross NW Watergardens after researching Japanese gardens and deciding to have one installed in our backyard. From the moment that I contacted the company I knew that I had made the right choice. Ben responded to my inquiries very quickly and we arranged a meeting to discuss possibilities. After the initial meeting, Ben sent us a proposal for our consideration.

Upon finalizing the plan after our input, a date was set to begin the work. Due to a heavy schedule the actual work began about a month after our target date. The wait was worth it! The installation crew led by Efrain was excellent. They were efficient, neat and very talented. Efrain's work on our patio as well as his execution of the garden design was above and beyond our expectations.

We are absolutely delighted with the results! Given the cooperation and care exhibited by both Ben and Joe Bowen as well as the talent and expertise of the installation crew, I would highly recommend Ross NW Watergardens.

Ben and his team are hands down the best contractors to have worked on our home since we moved in. Our experience includes at least 10 different groups over the last 5 and a half years for a variety of large and small projects. Why so exceptional? I worked with Ben at Ross NW Watergardens to clean up a tight area that was overgrowing with weeds behind my home. Out went the existing plants, pavers, and an old concrete pad. In went a new weed barrier, quarter-minus gravel, and some nice 24-inch pavers. Ben's team also did a significant amount of work around my front yard. Taking out existing plants, part of the lawn, and installing a new paver patio. Ben was very responsive throughout the entire process.

He followed up promptly to my questions and was present on site when needed. The team did terrific job and kept things nice and clean throughout the ordeal. I wouldn't hesitate to work with Ben and his team again in the future.

We recently had Ben and his team revive our tiny backyard and install a rustic path with steps in our side yard. Apparently, they were booked until winter but because out project was pretty small, they were able to squeeze us in a weekend a few months after I contacted them. The process was very smooth, from start to end and Ben was easy to reach via email throughout the duration of the project.

He was very understanding of our budget limit and made his best efforts to keep the project within our budget. He was also very accommodating and understanding when I requested some improvements to a structure they had installed. Also, he had some extra plants from a previous project that he donated to ours, which was really sweet of him

Ben took the time to carefully explain each element of the design proposal to make sure we understood all the necessary details. We encountered a few delays with the crazy winter snowstorms and some unexpected issues (none of which were the fault of Ross NW Watergardens) and Ben and the team were always quick to communicate on the status of the project and went above and beyond to help us resolve them.

The end result was better than we could have expected and we are thrilled with how everything turned out. I would recommend Ross NW Watergardens to anyone looking for a courteous, professional and high-quality landscaping company.

We called three different landscapers for quotes. Ben's was the highest...but, he was the most thorough. We got the feeling the other companies were used to a specific set of plants and would just give you some cookie-cutter landscaping. Ben took the time to talk us through the project, 3-dozen emails, 20 different plant and tree combinations....etc. He was so great to work with and the crew he brought was respectful and professional.

Ben, Joe and the team helped me completely reimagine my landscape. This started with a landscape design. My house is a MIdcentury Modern and Ben understood how to make the house shine. Once the design was complete Jow and the crew took over. The final result was amazing! My landscape looks fantastic.

I contacted four different companies for quotes to get my small urban backyard turned into a patio. Two of the companies never bothered to return me a quote. Ben and his team at Ross NW were the fastest to respond and their quote was much more competitive than the other companies. The work was done in the time frame he promised and I was happy to find that the quoted price was the final price as well. In addition they were able to work their time table around mine nicely and the patio looks beautiful! Would highly recommend them for any project!
