Cedar Lawn Care

Modification to below. I have changed my 1 star review because of a long and caring text I received this morning from the owner Brent explaining the invoicing, his reaction to the employee in question, and offered us a discount for our trouble. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- I caught one of the technicians, on his way out of my property, picking through my tools.

He left immediately after I caught him rifling, in case you are wondering (as I did, briefly) that he might have needed to borrow a tool for the job, which was not the situation, they were done working. There is literally no reason for him to be roaming my yard, looking around in boxes and buckets, sifting through and touching my things. I informed the company, and was initially very pleased by the receptionist Ashley's reaction.

She seemed to take this very seriously and said she would inform the owner. Then the owner Brent texted and called me back. He was equivocal regarding his employee, calling it a "weird experience" and asking me to repeat the story several times, seemingly confused asking why I "thought" the man was trying to steal from me. See above facts, even my kids caught on right away.

I told him I simply thought he would like to know if one of his employees was stealing from his clients. He then asked if I wanted to hear this guy's "version"! Nah. In follow-up texts (I sent him pics of tool box and tools out) Brent seemed more concerned about his own sadness, and him having to maybe discipline his employee, rather than responding to our worry and concern that a thief had been allowed on our property.

The most I got was a "sorry this happened" after pressing him a bit. I've felt unsafe ever since Friday. Hours of distress, hiding my items on my own property. Worried this guy will come back now that he has surveyed my yard, or out of revenge. I received a full price invoice via email this morning from Cedar Lawn Care for the job. without even a breath of a response to what they have put me and my family through.

This has been awful. I've owned my own small service business for years, and this is not how you win trust back with valued customers. Perhaps their service is usually good, but I can't trust that when things go wrong, I will be treated with deference and commitment to my satisfaction. I'm out. Cedar Lawn DOESN'T Care.

Due to age and a couple of nagging health issues it has become more difficult for my wife and I to accomplish certain tasks. One of these things was repairing our sprinkler system. So we called Cedar Lawn Care and they arranged for a service tech to come out and effect the repairs needed. A wonderful young man (Jeff) came out at the on time hour and quickly and efficiently made repairs and checked out our entire system.

I am more than impressed with this young man and we plan on using his services a lot in the future. WONDERFUL COMPANY! It's great to have such a friendly and knowledgeable young man help us out in the time of our need! I would recommend this company to all I know!

First time I've used them and I asked if they could come a few days early. no problem , arrived early Monday morning. excellent work and quick. ton of weeds gone and cleaned up . highly recommend. five star's

Aerated our lawns and is currently hired to fertilize then over the next few months. They have also been hired to mow for us from time to time. They have always been fast and efficient.

Brent is honest, upfront, and fair. He possesses a wonderful customer service attitude in following through with what he says. He runs his business with honesty and passion, and it shows in his work. Thank you for providing a high quality business run by people with high caliber character.

I had an appointment yesterday, 10/23, with this company for sprinkler winterization. I waited all day for someone to show up and they never did. When calling their number I was told someone would call me back "soon". I spoke to their answering at approx 4PM and 630PM and was told the same thing. When I posted on their FB page it was hidden / removed. It is now supposed to be in the teens and twenties and I am unable to find any other companies to come out and perform this service.

I'd been struggling with this irrigation system since I moved in to this house and finally I'd had enough when the backyard sprinklers just stopped worked for no logical reason. Jeff came out and quickly assessed the illogical mess that was my valves and stations. I honestly have no idea why it was installed the way it was. Station two shared a valve that watered half the front yard and the entire back yard.

There was a valve between the main valve and the backyard sprinklers that was unmarked and next to impossible to find without digging up the entire yard and landscaping. I'd always hated how that valve/station was split to begin with so I asked if we could separate the backyard off onto it's own valve and station and Jeff made it happen while also bypassing wherever the mystery valve was hiding so it would no longer be a problem.

He also replaced all of my old valves with a modular system that allows easier valve replacement and the option to add more valves/stations in the future. The parts of the landscaping that did have to be moved aside and dug up for the new parts were carefully worked with and put back so it looks the same as before even with the additions. Before finishing the job he also replaced a sprinkler head that was damaged and calibrated all of the sprinkler heads for optimal coverage. We are very pleased with the work done and would recommend Cedar Lawn Care to our friends and neighbors having yard and sprinkler issues.

We have been using Cedar Lawn Care for a short period of time to try to get our lawn looking better. Our 2 dogs have made a mess of it. We have appreciated their calling us the day before and being on time. We hope to see them again in the Spring taking care of our yard needs.

Brent and Crew are the BEST! We are no relation and have no relationships with Cedar Lawn Care! It would have cost us 1/3 more and twice the time if we would have done the job ourselves! This would not include the extra cost of renting equipment and a trip to our doctor! They were punctual and very helpful in requesting instructions. In my opinion they worked as a team and quietly to get the job done as soon as possible! Very professional! Brent then followed with a personal visit to make sure we were satisfied with their work! My lawn was over grown and it was practically growing up the fence and these two guys made my lawn look so beautiful!! They cleaned up all the mess before they left!! Highly recommend!!

Brent has been maintaining the lawn of my house for the last five tears. Brent provides our annual leaf removal for our yard. We have 10 mature cottonwood trees that dump thousands of leaves. Brent uses state of the art methods and equipment to not only do the job quickly but efficiently as well. Brent has taken care of my yard for the last 5 years. It is my vacation house and whenever i come to visit Cedar City, I always am happy with the way the lawn has been kept. Once my upset neighbor called me to complain about the few daisies in my yard were spreading pollen to his yard and pollinating his yard. Instead of telling him to "get lost" or something worse, I called Brent and he handled with style and grace, and he took care of the daisies. Brent has always been available to answer any of my questions and always has been very fair with his pricing. Cedar Lawn Care has been maintaining my lawn for the last couple years, and I couldn't be happier. I only wish I would have switched to them a long time ago. I get notified if they can't come due to rain, I am not forced to accept a long list of things done that I don't want done, and they are genuinely nice guys. I feel safe with them. With my old company I never knew what shady character would be showing up on my property. That's not a comforting feeling. I recommend them in a heartbeat!

He keeps me informed over the condition of the lawn and any other items that might need attention. As a former grounds crew leader for large park district in California I can get pretty picky about how the lawn looks, I am not disappointed. I would recommend his services.
