Sean, the owner and operator of Square Leaf Landscaping, was great to work with. We hired him to build a brand new fence around our backyard, including the removal of an old metal fence. I was able to easily book him to come and do a quote and he offered a very realistic and reasonable estimate on the fence we wanted built. During the lead up to the project, he was easy to contact by phone, text or email and was open to some small changes to the project that we wanted following our initial contract negotiation.

During the actual fence building, he was punctual and hired a great crew. The quality of the work is extremely high, he was very communicative during the build about the timeline and our yard was always left clean and tidy each evening when the crew was done for the day. At the end of the job, he walked us through the work and we were extremely pleased with the quality of the fence he built.

It was exactly what we wanted and what he said he would build. Our property was left very clean and we've received endless compliments on our fence! I needed a small project done and found Sean online. He responded quickly and was at my house the next day to discuss my options. He was easy to work with in coming up with a plan and was able to start in a timely manner. He got the job done in 2 days and I was very pleased with his work. Sean and Omar completed a backyard project for me including Teco bloc stone patio, planted cedars, retaining wall, walkway and drainage. They transformed my backyard into an oasis! Sean and his team completed some landscaping in our backyard. The areas Sean had to work in were tight and he had to work around our pool and deck. The scope of work I gave Sean was a bit unorthodox because I gave him patio slabs that I got for free that were of different shape and design. He did a great job, levelling all the dirt, laying down sod, and making use of all my free patio slabs that I gave him. The pattern he designed with the slabs looked great. Sean and his team exceeded all my expectations and the workmanship was top notch.

Sean and Omar completely rejuvenated our run down back yard. They cleared out a million roots and clay soil, and refilled it all with soil, mulch, and sod to create a really simple but beautiful yard. They also build an accessible interlock path and a lovely little foot path through (what will some day be) a shade garden. Sean answered all our questions before starting and gave us ideas for solutions that fit our budget and vision. I first met Sean in summer 2022 when he was working on a neighbour's lawn and garden. After asking him if he had time to do a yard cleanup for us - he agreed to do so and came promptly within a couple of days. It was a big job, with excellent results, all at a reasonable rate.
