A Garden Emporium that focuses on locally grown specialty plants, re purposed architectural items, garden accessories, artisan works and gifts. Set up in a bungalow, the nursery features something for every style of landscape.Traditional fountains merge with fantastical creations, and pathways lined with vintage furniture lead you to ever more vignettes. In The Garden is a personal experience - coaxing you to sit for a while on an antique bench while you stop to smell the Roses.

Located in the Spring Branch District of Houston, owners, Frank and Suzan Galvan, have been bringing color and style to Texas gardens through "In The Garden" since 1999. Frank is a commercial landscape contractor with over 36 years experience and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise on plants and planting specifically as they pertain to the Houston climate.
We take the art of gift giving seriously, understanding that choices are the key to success. We search far and wide to source options that are sure to please. No matter the season or occasion you will find a choice that fits. Gifts for all seasons and occasions. Fun, fancy or functional our selection is aimed to please even those with the most discerning of tastes.
This is a social evening for gardening enthusiasts. We encourage attendees to bring an appetizer and / or drink to share as we exchange gardening experiences, successes and failures. This is our time to give back to you, our loyal customers and say "Thank You" for sustaining us through the past 20 years.
Starting early each year, our nursery department begins to burst with new plant life. Sourced from mostly local growers our plants are brought in weekly and are as fresh as can be. Texas natives, pollinator plants and host plants for all butterfly varieties can be found when the time is right. Availability and varieties change as the season moves on.

I went there to get a plant and was told they carry seeds. I was able to find some seeds for some beautiful flowers. They carry Botanical Interests which from my research is the best seeds on the market. They are so easy to grow. I am going to go back to get some herb seeds. I like to grow from seeds so I know completely how it was raised. It also is a great project to do with my children. It teaches responsibility with a reward at the end.

In The Garden is a very nice place. It is very relaxing seeing all those beautiful flowers and hearing the birds singing. The owners are friendly and very helpful. They will give you very good advice on what should you plant or help you out on you idea as well. They have a lot of things to choose from.

This is by far and away my favorite place for plants. They are incredibly knowledgeable and always helpful. I wanted something pretty for my pergola that would do well in a planter. They did not disappoint! Maybe not the cheapest place in town to get plants but you get what you pay for. The plants you get from this place will be strong and healthy and will do awesome in your yard

Entire staff was extremely helpful. Owner Suzan carefully listened and helped us with advice and services we couldn't find anywhere else. (Months of internet research couldn't give us our answers) The entire location has a whimsical and loving energy. The whole experience is one to remember. The prices are great aswell(coming from a penny pincher like me- thats saying something) Definitely found our new garden center. Love Love Love.

This is a beautiful gem hidden that is worth the drive (I drove from the Woodlands). The owners are gracious and very knowledgeable about plants they choose and sell. I love unusual in my gardens and this is the place for that. Their collection of art deco is found thru their travels and also from local artist. I can't wait to return for more and to see what new items and plants they have added! It's a must for all types of gardeners.

I went to the shop for the first time today with my boyfriend and I wished I discovered the shop a lot sooner! They have a great selection of herbs, flowers, and succulents. :) This is a beautiful garden shop with a lot of healthy plants! The shop owner was also incredibly friendly, sweet, and knowledgeable. She really helped a lot about plant information (which ones were good for my home) and showed us a good variety of plants such as lemon grass and chef's rosemary.
This a new favorite store of mine and I plan to come back again to expand my growing collection. I also like the fact that there were cute cats, butterflies, and soooo many bees! It really shows that the plants are good quality and reassures that they are not sprayed with anything. :)
