Cool Ponds

The whole crew was wonderful! This was not a cheap project and I'll admit I was was very nervous. When you buy a car you know what you are getting, not with a water feature. You can't see it. You have to rely on their artistic ability. They did not disappoint! Now I have too figure out what to do in the backyard. :

If your thinking about building a pond this place is awesome. Lots of inspiration on design can be taken from looking over their many established ponds. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Very cool place!

We had our old pond renovated by Cool Ponds and are absolutely in love with our new pond. Communication was good, they are an incredibly hard working and knowledgeable team, and the pond is gorgeous. There was an issue with the stock tank the fish were kept in during the reno that lead to the loss of the majority of my fish, but they did make it right to the best of their abilities. The physical store is worth a stop just to see their work.

Great experience with cool ponds, We had a new pond installed and they did a fabulous job, awesome work, The Wicker Family was a joy to work with, Very professionally Family owned business, I highly recommend cool ponds for your water features and Ponds.

I purchased some faux boulders for my back yard. Super satisfied with their item descriptions; they were spot on! Quick shipment was a plus, as well. I highly recommend them.

Lady didn't seem to want to really sell us anything or help pick things out.

Pond and water feature supplies. Example ponds on the grounds. They can assist you in the design and installation of these or provide completed designs for you.

Along with the other people who rated 1 star for this business, we had similar bad customer service. They are very delayed in their response time. We finally got an appointment scheduled after reaching out to them again. Of course, today, they have to reschedule. "Something came up". I do understand, but after delay after delay; feels like they don't want the business.

I am all about small businesses, so this is very disappointing to me. I would not be comfortable with this place installing a pond. Might take forever to get it done. Response to Owner's post: Your statements are not accurate, which I'm quite sure you know. You did not immediately reach out to us, you did not leave several messages. We have all your text messages to prove it.

I will be more than happy to post it here if you would like. You stated your son would reach out to us, which he never did. We had to contact you back, which appointment was finally scheduled. Something came up now equates to being sick? When you said he postponed and would make any day happen, and we did not respond? We most certainly did. Again, I can post everything here if you would like.

Let's just be honest. I am disappointed we could not make this happen as well. After reading some of the other reviews, response time seems to be the common denominator. So instead of telling everyone you responded and the customer did not respond, how about you take a look at your internal operations and figure out timely responses instead of promoting false statement.

I am more than happy to take this post down in sake of promoting small businesses, which I fully support. But if you continue to say incorrect statements, this post will remain. Good day to you.

They put a pond in for us.wow! Did not imagine how great it looks! The people there are so friendly, super knowledgeable, great to work with from the time they come out to measure and quote, to even now when I go back in to purchase. Best pond place around.

Great shop! A family business! Thanks to Steve for his thoughtful advice, help and materials that enabled us to rebuild our pond. It was a pond that came with our house. It is now our beautiful pond with waterfall in our wonderful wooded backyard!

Beautiful water gardens and very friendly and helpful stuff. I would definitely recommend this place for the pond amateurs.

Our visit was beyond enjoyable. This is a local family owned and operated business. They not only sell pond supplies but they will service and maintain existing ponds. Their impressive ponds behind their store not only serve as great inspiration but prove their exceptional ability to design and install gorgeous ponds for their clients. The owners were extremely welcoming and very knowledgable.

For nearing the end of the pond season they had a wonderfully diverse selection of extremely healthy pond plants. We purchased several plants as well as several very healthy calico / shibunkin gold fish. We will definitely continue bringing our business here.

Team just finished transforming our old, dirty koi pond into a beautiful pond-less waterfall. It is exactly as we envisioned. Team was professional, friendly, and thorough. We're absolutely thrilled.

We have been thrilled with the 3-rock bubbler purchased from Cool Ponds. It is tucked in near our patio and is the perfect size for this small space. The organic look is exactly what we had been hoping to find. We discovered a problem with the grate shortly after it was installed and the Cool Ponds crew was back at our house within a day to replace the defective part with a new one, which necessitated completely rebuilding the entire water feature. This was done efficiently and without hesitation. We could not be more pleased with the communication, product and customer service we received from Cool Ponds.

I am on my fourth year with my pond and it has been a very worthwhile investment and learning experience. I have taken all of their classes they offer to be a better informed owner. They were great at training me how to take care of my pond and Koi.

I absolutely love this place! They are so helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Even if you have a question or concern about your pond you can call them and they will help! Their work is exceptional! They have free classes throughout the year to help you with your pond no matter how big or small. Everyone who works there is very knowledgeable and I, along with my entire family, always enjoy spending time there and learning more about our pond.

We have had our pond more than 17 years. We only learned about Cool Ponds 3 years ago but from their knowledge they have taught us and we have gained so much more enjoyment out of our pond/water feature. When friends ask us about our pond we always recommend Cool Pnds and tell them to check out their displays at the Indiana Flower and Patio Show and Home Show.

They do phenomenal work! We also love how not only is it a family run business but they now important family is! We highly recommend Cool Ponds even if you just want to enjoy some natural relaxation! On a side note.ask them about Princess the Koi and the ones they can hand feed.

Cool ponds just finished installing a pond at my home as part of a patio and backyard overhaul. The pond is fantastic. The Cool Ponds guys were professional and efficient. They do beautiful work and they provided a lot of great information to help me keep the pond in good condition. I could not be happier. I checked out all the pond builders in. Central Indiana.

Cool Ponds is clearly the best. They built the pond, stream and waterfall with a real eye towards the setting. Best of all it is very low maintenance. Can't say enough good things about these guys.

We are brand new on the pond scene so my husband and I came here for ideas and help and couldn't be happier. This place was a life saver for us! We can wait to attend our first class next month!

My personal experience with Cool Ponds extends to attempting to get an estimate to have my pond renovated. The initial time that I contacted them it was nearly two weeks until I received a response from Steven. This should have been a signal to me to shop elsewhere, but I ignored it. I went to their store, checked out their ponds and went back home with a lot to think about.

A couple of weeks later I brought my wife in to look at what they had and we decided to get back in touch with Steven and get an estimate on what it would really cost to complete our job. I sent an email to Steven on April 25, which I have still not received a response from (today is May 24). After two weeks I got tired of waiting on Cool Ponds so I found a different company to renovate my pond, got them to come to my house and do the estimate, provide written estimate, revise written estimate, and complete the renovations - all in just under two weeks and again I still haven't heard a word from Cool Ponds.

I can't speak well of a company who apparently is so busy that they need to be chased by the customer in order for me to pay them to perform a service; I believe it's supposed to be the other way around. Further, I regard terrible customer service and response time PRIOR to the expenditure of my money as a solid indicator of what their customer service and response time will be AFTER I have paid and the company has nothing left to gain from me.

I would never purchase anything else from them (I did buy some chemicals from them last month) nor would I ever recommend them to anyone. Maybe they do good work, but their customer service is substandard at best.

The employees here are so helpful and have great patience and answer any and all questions.

DO NOT HIRE! I hired this company to install a 5000 sf pond in my yard at a cost of $56,000. They undersized the pond by 1500 sf, the liner leaks, the water flows over only 1/3 of the waterfall, and none of the dispersion piping and clean out vaults are installed in the bog. They have since quit the project, leaving the finish grading, bog gravel installation, overflow spillway, and edging stones unfinished. My yard is a disaster!
