Calvin Landscape

This company is used through our HOA, this landscape company damaged our home, we talk to them, they informed us that this would be taken care of, and that's been about two months ago, and our house is still damaged. I have reached out to this company several times, trying to find out who is responsible? is it the HOA to get our home fixed, or is it the landscape company who damaged the home.

I will say the owner said he would take care of us, but now we get no return calls. The HOA say he is responsible, and I would believe that considering it was his company that damaged the house. Would be more than happy if he would just respond, and give us a date that they plan on taking care of this, before We contact a lawyer, due to his poor response.

I have been a long-time customer of Calvin landscaping. Over the past few years their service has deteriorated dramatically. This year, as for years past, I hired them for spring cleanup of my home- which in the past has included trimming all the hedges, pairing back trees and bushes, applying pre-emergent weed control and laying down high quality mulch in bedded.

I paid the $700 fee several months in advance of when they finally showed up. When they did, they trimmed absolutely nothing, did almost no weed removal, and did a very inadequate job laying down very low quality wood chip mulch. When I called to complain I was told trimming hedges pairing back bushes and applying pre-emergent was no longer part of the service. In fact, they wanted an additional $150 for the work they did provide. Obviously I refused to pay it and told them I will never use them again.

They started coming to my place last year and they have been fantastic! Very responsive and reasonable prices.

I've canceled this service. Last fall, they put down the last application a full MONTH after the first hard freeze when soil temperatures were right at freezing. In the spring they came to do the first application when the soil temperature was 31 degrees with snow due in twice in the following 3 days, followed by another week of massive cold. I don't know if they simply don't have the manpower to handle demand so are way off calendar or there is something more going on. Either way we're DONE.

Most disappointing. Poor lawn result and no response to my phone calls and texts. Cancelling with Calvins.

This company has a contract to maintain the common areas in the addition in which I live. They dud a good job fir the first year (they only had a one tear contract at the time), but as soon as a multi-year contract was signed, the quality of their work went way down. They would miss entire areas where mowing, they killed grass and blamed it on a fungus, the would mow over trash rather than pick it up (picking up trash is part of their contract), etc.

I would never recommend this company to anyone! They charge way too much money for the crappy service that they provide. I'll be glad when the contract is up ad a new provider is hired.

To whom it may concern: I live at 6535 Branches Dr. Brownsburg, the last time the common, s area people done trimming of the walks, they did Not clean them off with a mower or a blower, this is the entrance of the Branches addition, makes the looks of our addition ugly, if you would Please tell them to clean the grass & weeds from the walks, Thank you so much & they do such a good job on the lawns, Signed: Mr. Dennis E.
