Garden Gate

It breaks my heart to review The Garden Gate so low, ever since moving to Oro Valley I thought they would be a phenomenal place to go based on reviews but the experience I got over the phone changed my mind. My wife and I bought a new build and are finally able to do backyard work. I called a little over a week ago and left a voicemail, someone did call me back.

The conversation from the individual changed my mind, the gal told me that they are very busy and she would pass my info along to the manager and they would get ahold of me if they "had the time". I have not heard from them at all. All I wanted was a quote, I would have been cool with it will be months before we can get out, but nothing. I highly recommend you pass The Garden Gate up so they can get "caught up" on their work.

Nice place, great people. They work with you to create your dream backyard.

Brad did an amazing job with the landscape design. We did have a problem with a yucca, but it was replaced with a beauty! See pictures! Thanks for turning our back yard into paradise!

This company redid my landscaping and repiped my irrigation a few years ago and I thought I left a bad review here at the time, but it's not here now. Recently, there was a large leak in my redone irrigation and I called another vendor. The vendor walked the property with me and showed me: 1) That the section of pipe that leaked was old and was not replaced. 2) The entire east side of my driveway, which formerly was irrigated, was disconnected from the system. 3) The new pvc system was layed on top of the ground and covered with gravel in areas. Avoid this outfit like the plague. Run, don't walk, away.

Can't really comment on the work. We visited their facility, left our contact info, and sent an email two days later. Have heard nothing after four days. Would have expected at least a phone call to set up an appointment or let me know they were too busy.

Wonderful experience with Ashlynd as the Designer and Gil as the Project Manager for my recent landscape project. I am thrilled with the professionalism, the timeliness of the project, and the beautiful plants that were selected. I have worked with several other landscape firms and this was the absolute best! It was a three day project that was executed quickly, efficiently, and with no personal interruption to my privacy. I am planning for them to do more work now in the backyard. I just completed a projected with The Garden Gate and I am delighted. The project was performed with efficiency and professionalism. Gil led the project management and he was dedicated, experienced, thoughtful, and very professional. Ashlynd provided me with beautiful design options and gorgeous plants. I am absolutely delighted with the entire operation. No problems at a very reasonable price point. I am now anxious to begin the second phase of the landscape work. Worst people ever these sub contractors that you hire are rude and quite disrespectful to their workers, telling them that they cannot have water until the job is finished and laughing at them is unacceptable. they will say that they only hire Mexicans because they don't know any better and will treat them however they want.they yell at them as if they are crap and pay way below the pay grade. these people need to lose all contracts im sure none of the people who hire them realize how these workers are treated and are worked like slaves!

These guys use sub contractor don't let the design center foo you, unlicesened sub contractor do all there work and they will over price 5x time cost they really price the sub contractor, go with a company that does there own work you will save more.
