A few years ago I had Preause Landscape do a landscaping of my front yard. They put in a tree which they recommended as being able to stand up to high winds and ice storms, which were a concern for me. They recommended a Chinese Pistache, which I was unfamiliar with. The tree which they installed has been nothing but trouble, It breaks in the wind and in ice storms.
It has cost me $400 in trimming to cut out the damage and still looks terrible. Now I find that the tree is not what they represented and charged me for, but is instead a Lace Bark Elm. I sent an email to the company to let them know but got no response. The owner is supposed to be an arborist. He should know his trees and install what he recommends.
