I contacted Joe to manage 7 small landscape jobs in our yard. He came out provided quick estimate and we agreed on a price. then he mentioned it would be three months before he could get to us. We were told he may be able to "fit us in earlier" as he had other larger jobs in our neighborhood. We waited. Both my husband and I made 1 call each to confirm we were still on the calendar during the three month wait. It's been almost 5 months and not a single contact. I wish we had gone with a more reliable business from the beginning. Would definitely not recommend.

My wife and I wanted to upgraded our driveway, landscaping and lighting.we live in the Venetian Isles area of St Petersburg. After being burned by another landscape company who charged us way too much, didn't follow the design we agreed up, and delivered tiny plants that didn't meet the tropical look we were going for. we were gun shy to make another investment. But after 6 months of being the eyesore of the neighborhood, we agreed to try again. When we brought Joe to our home to do a walkthru, he won us over with his enthusiasm, his creativity and his obvious love and knowledge of flora and fauna. Joe and his team did an amazing job bringing in plants we loved and giving us the lush, tropical look we were going for.
Lots of texture and color! During the two and a half days of installation, he worked with my husband and I to make changes along the way when we saw something that wouldn't work or that we didn't like. He was professional, on time, and his crew was fast and clean--they even worked in the rain! Now that it's finished, people stop in front of our house daily as they walk their dogs and their children and my husband has already been told by several other husbands that now *their* wives are saying, "Look how beautiful their house looks--I want new landscaping too!" Couldn't be happier!

Mr. Palmer was in no other words but EXCELLENT. I bought my home six years ago and had a project done each year. The last item on my list was to revamp my yard for the 1925 house bordered already by bamboo. If you have bamboo - you know nothing grows near it because it chokes out the light. I interviewed a few landscape architects and decided on Mr. Palmer.
He provided me a complete list of options and worked with me thoroughly to meet my budget. I had six guys working on my yard for four days straight. During the work, he kept me updated throughout the project and each time I came home from work I was amazed at the transformation. I would not have imagined the outcome, but I'm very pleased. The colors of the plants, palms, and coordinated stones are eye-catching and make you want to sit outside and admire it. My friends are begging for a porch party because of the pictures I posted on Facebook. I would recommend this company to everyone.

This man is a con artist, STAY AWAY. I originally purchased privacy bushes from Joe, I was in a rush and didn't shop around and he overcharged me 4 times the industry standards, at that time I trusted him and paid without questioning the price, my mistake for trusting this guy and not shopping around. His team did a horrible job at installation, I had to manage his staff, they were confused, making mistake after mistake and were not properly guided.
I even had to do some of the work myself including cutting the rope around the tree's which his team did not do, it was a horrible experience. The irrigation system they installed had issue after issue and I had to get a more experienced company out here to fix that as well. I next asked for an estimate for Palm tree's. He quoted me a price of 43,500 total.
I shopped around this time and ended up going with one of his competitors who did the job for 15,000. They did an excellent job and I am happy with the results. This is crazy that Joe tried to charge me 43,500 for a job that costs 15,000. If Joe knows that you are not knowledgeable about pricing he will charge you an insane price above normal if he thinks he can get away with it, he takes advantage of good people and possesses an arrogant attitude as if he is doing you a favor by hiring him for a landscaping Job. Don't be fooled or tricked, shop around and use an ethical landscaping company that doesn't make a living ripping off honest people.
