From our first meeting with the sales team and landscaping designers to the end result, we now have the most fantastic yard in Kansas City; Rosehill crushed every detail. Rosehill and their team were a shining ray of sunshine every day during the process. They answered every question, responded to every text, and returned every call. Great place to work for very diverse love working out in freeman and Miami county out in the country and see the pretty trees the people are great and Jake on field production makes work fun unlike my past job with toxic work environment I love what I do and I plan to stay for a long time

I have worked in the green industry for over 15 years, and can say from personal experience that Rosehill Gardens is the most impressive landscaping company that I have ever seen. Roots a century deep.

We recently held an engagement party at their patio event space at their Martin City location. First, the venue is absolutely wonderful. It was full of greenery and mums (it was held in Oct) and didn't need any decorations because of the natural beauty. The space had a water feature (small waterfall/pond) and plenty of seating/tables. Furthermore, they offered interior space for the bar set-up and food.

The guests were so impressed and continuously commented on the venue. Although this was an "open house" type of event for the engaged couple, 95% of the people stayed the entire time due to the venue and simply enjoying the space. Jeff Menefee, the Event Coordinator, was simply amazing. He was patient and kind during the planning process. A heckava nice fella.

Before we arrived that day, he had prepared the space with table placement, setting up bar area, providing tables/tablecloth set up for the food and making sure the space was ready for our guests. Throughout the party, he came around to ensure the patio umbrellas were adjusted for the sun as it shifted and checked-in to make sure things were going well.

He was the absolute best! As a matter of fact, a couple of the guests commented on how impressed they were with him and to comment that he was so nice. Jeff's kindness, flexibility and patience coupled with the outstanding event space made this such a success. I know a couple of people at the party are already discussing holding their future events there. That speaks volumes. If you are planning a party or a special occasion, I would highly recommend doing it at RoseHill Gardens. You will not be disappointed!

We have worked with Rosehill Gardens for multiple projects and this year we hired them for our biggest project yet. Our landscaper Steve listened to our ideas and then made them better through his great design. We're in the execution stage now and he is highly responsive as he project manages the large project across multiple teams (hardscape and landscape).

Several of our neighbors have told us how much they love the work we're doing. Prior to working with Rosehill we had a challenging, sloped yard. Now it is being transformed. We anticipate many years of great memories once this project is complete. A bonus is that no tree or plant we've ever bought from Rosehill for more than 15 years ever needed to be replaced.

We couldn't be happier with Rosehill Gardens and have used them for over five years at two homes and four different projects in that time. The landscape designs are always beautiful, the plant material is the best in the city and they are responsive and kind. I cannot recommend them more highly if you are looking to complete an elite landscape renovation at your home. Recently, a negative review was posted by our neighbor, Sabrina.

We are the neighbors in question in that review and to my knowledge she has never used Rosehill Gardens for any work at her present home. Her dispute is over a four-corners survey that was done which resulted in no change whatsoever to our original plans for a fence. This fence was placed in the exact same location it was always planned to be. Additionally, they were informed of its location weeks in advance.

We attempted to work with these neighbors to settle their concerns, but after walking them down the future fence line on multiple occasions they chose to spend money of their own on a second survey in spite of our assurances that the fence would be clearly placed well onto our property regardless of any survey result. Lastly, there is no dispute as far as we are concerned and Rosehill is in no way responsible for whatever dispute they feel exists.

Rosehill Gardens has worked with us on multiple projects and the results are consistently stunning. Steve is a great listener who understands what we are looking for and makes it reality -- but he also helps us think outside of our comfort zone. We're always glad that he does! Currently, we're working on our largest project yet. Normally, this might be very stressful but our experience with Rosehill continues to be great.

Even though the project isn't complete yet (but it is on schedule!), we've already received many compliments from several of our neighbors who love the creative and beautiful ways Rosehill addressed challenges for our sloping yard as we install a pool. I always tell them that Rosehill is a joy to work with in the planning AND execution stage. They are consistently fair and committed to our satisfaction. I would recommend them without hesitation, and in fact have many times.

The event venue is stellar and all the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. I got a mature bonsai and thriving aloe vera. Next event we plan, Rosehill will be at the top of the list. Jeff was great!

WOW! Our front yard and back yard is gorgeous, thanks to John Mclenon and his crew! John listened to what we wanted and did exactly what we asked. He and his crew were timely, professional, and fun to work with. If you are looking for landscaping design and install. Rosehill Gardens is THE company you want.

We ordered a large load of trees and had an amazing delivery driver, Rob Seitz. The trees were much nicer and larger than we expected. Not only did he help us do all the rigging for the trees he even helped us place the trees at our home so we didn't do any damage to them. A+ service from Rob and Rosehill Gardens.

We highly recommend Rosehill. They installed a beautiful stone retaining wall in our backyard, new buried downspouts for improved drainage, and large stones and landscaping at the front of the house. Jason Opheim and his team did a wonderful job. We explained what we were looking for, and Jason designed a plan that exceeded our expectations. He was always prompt in answering any concerns or questions that we had.

The crew were perfectionists in all aspects of the daily work, including picking out just the right stones for the job. We have received many compliments, and everything is also very functional. We are thrilled every time we look at it!

Words honestly can't describe the amazing job this company did on our back yard last fall, they literally transformed our backyard from a flat heap of nothingness to the most amazing backyard that makes us feel like we've been transported to the mountains. Tom was so skilled and took the time to really get to know us and what we wanted, and the vision he came up with was exactly what we'd wanted but couldn't put into words!

His crew was unbelievably professional and took a lot of pride in their work. He kept us completely informed and made sure we were happy every step of the way. My husband and I were shocked at the finished product and 5 months later we are still so excited to get to look at this everyday! Hands down, Rosehill (and hopefully Tom) will handle the landscaping on every project we have in the future.

It really shows that this is a 100 yr old company - they know what they're doing! (Also the weeping Alaskan Cedar was switched out for another pine, but I don't have a picture of that handy ) We're so excited watching everything start to bloom again now!

Very disappointed. Spent a fortune with this company. I made the mistake of admitting my lack of knowledge when it comes to landscaping and boy was I taken advantage of. Ugly spirea, some kind of bushes in back that have looked awful from day one. Gangly and are always just lying on the ground. Terrible crew that have no idea how to trim hedges. I'll be spending more money in the fall with another company to deal with this mess in my yard. DO NOT RECOMMEND! Thought I would get what I paid for as Rosehill Gardens is an established company and have been around a long time Boy was I wrong.

Rosehill is absolutely a 5 star operation. I used them to fully design and install the landscape in my backyard. I met with designer Tom Hall and discussed what I had in mind as far as wish list items, types of features and plants, and Tom delivered a design that not only captured everything I was looking for, but really brought design expertise and concepts that I wouldn't have thought of on my own.

I initially planned to tackle this project on my own, but I'm so glad that I hired these guys. They definitely earned their reputation, and I would hire them again in a heartbeat. After signing the contract, the entire process was incredible and very well managed by Tom. The only time I had to call Tom during the project was to tell him how happy I was with the how the yard was shaping up.

It has been exciting to return home everyday from work to watch to progress with no hassle on my part at all. We also included lighting and irrigation in the scope of the project, and the materials and work quality are both top notch.

Absolutely gorgeous setting! The friendly manager, Laurel was gracious and knowledgeable! What a fabulous selection of plants, flowers and garden accessories! The live music with Somerset Winery and Cider Bar is a fantastic touch! Outside music in the courtyard.

I received several bids from other companies before deciding to go with Rosehill. A couple of those bids were way higher than Rosehill, but also overkill for my project. And. a couple were lower, but I requested Mike Peltier on the suggestion of a friend, and I'm glad I did as he was very considerate and easy to work with in listening to my wishes and my budget.

I still feel they are on the higher end of the scale, so I am having to break the project down into stages. Mike did approximately one-third of the project last fall, and so far. all is good. While redoing the area they did then, they were quite willing to save acceptable plants that already existed and replant in appropriate places. A couple other companies told me they would not do that. that all had to go.

In a couple aspects due to my special situation, Mike has gone beyond what some others would do. I believe it is worth giving Rosehill an opportunity to look at your project.

Horrible communication. But when I finally got the owner on the phone, it instantly got better. My sprinkler was on my neighbors property. Was unable to get them back to fix it, but again when I got the owner on. instant fix. Additionally, had them do my landscaping in which plants died and have replaced. Seriously would not have wanted to use them, but when you go up the ladder. it all worked out.

Not happy with my service for a sprinkler system repair. The repairman tracked mud into my house for one. He couldn't complete the job that same day and agreed to come back the next week to finish (it was on a Friday of a holiday weekend). That is fine, but he never came back. By the time we realized he wasn't coming back, we didn't want to continue to use the company and figured we'd find a different one.

We received a bill a month later in the mail, still no call. I called to explain to them what happened and discuss my concerns. They were not apologetic at all, and said they could not send out a different repairman, but they could send a "higher up" person with him. When I asked if there were notes from the last visit, since we already were being charged for an hour of work that was "done", she said no.

We declined to have them come back, as we don't want to use a company that charged us for an hour of work that wasn't followed up with and no notes made, and caused us to get our carpets cleaned due to mud all down the stairs. Never apologized, no discount offered, and were defensive. Poor customer service.

A little bit of everything for the yard, garden, and pots. Great plants with 2 year guarantee! A little pricey, but worth the money. Very helpful staff with solutions for common problems and good suggestions. Check them out.
