Ryan Lawn & Tree

The Ryan crew did an excellent job of removing 2 trees and pruning another. The cost was reasonable and the service was exceptional. My trees were a challenge to remove due to a nearby playset and other young trees that I didn't want damaged. The Ryan guys had the skills to take care of my job without damaging anything around them. They were punctual, hard working and most importantly they were very skilled in their work.

Thank you Ryan! Update: A couple of days after the trees were removed, Ryan also ground out the tree stumps. Again, excellent work was done in a timely and professional manner. I was particularly impressed that he removed the ground up shavings/wood and backfilled the area with soil. Superb job!

The trees look very nice as do most of the shrubs. The red-twig dogwood shrubs were trimmed more aggressively than 1 prefer as they are now shorter than the foundation, but they will grow. I appreciate the work Manuel and assistant did.

I had Ryan remove a downed tree limb and a standing tree that was compromised from a storm. They we out two days after the estimated with a full team to get the job done in 2.5 hours. The team of 5 was professional, courteous, and cleaned both my front and back yard. I would highly recommended them for any job. They set the standard for customer service!

Derrick was on time and treated my 1 acre yard for weeds. I live in the country, so weed control is an annual event. I have been a Ryan customer for over 10 years and the service and value are very competitive. Other services I have used are pest control on trees for bag worms, tree & stump removal, and mole treatment. All jobs were performed well with excellent results. I would highly recommend Ryan Lawn & Tree for all professional landscaping projects.

As a second time home owner, I've noticed a lot of outside projects that need to be completed. A major one was the large oak tree in the backyard. It seemed that the tree needed some pruning work as it appeared unkept, with old, thick vines crawling upward on the trunk and wrapping themselves around the branches. The canopy appeared wild and broken branches were all over the ground.

I called Ryan Lawn and Tree because of the great job they did with the trees at my father's house. After I received my free estimate that was scheduled for five weeks out, a week later, I was told the project could be handled sooner. Although I wasn't present to witness the project, when I returned home, I went to the backyard to look at the oak tree.

The vines and old branches were cut away. The tree canopy had a smaller and cleaner look about it. It appears that the old oak tree will be able to have a new life. The yard was cleared of all the branches. I'm very pleased with the results of the project.

Always good communication with Jesse. I just told him that this year, I need to have a front yard that was good all summer long without any brown patches. Things seemed to do well last year as the summer progressed. I would like my lawn to be consistently good throughout the entire season. I will be responsible for watering. Service: Weed control

I have 3 trees removed from my back yard that were dead/dying. It was easy to set up the appointment with Ryan and they are always friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend them to friends and family without hesitation.

I really can't remember when we didn't have Ryan's working on our lawn and trees and we have lived here over 40 years. They are fast friendly professional. I could go on and on. They do all our work taking care of weeds and bugs and keep the grass growing. Our trees love the care when it is trim time. And when they are finished the clean up is amazing. One of our trees needed some very necessary pruning. After requesting bids, we chose Ryan Lawn and Tree to perform the service. We were a small project, and was told there was a eight week timeline. When our project was scheduled, we received a phone call and agreed upon a time for the pruning. They arrived shortly before the appointment time, and their crew began the limb cutting and chipping the limbs.

They cleaned up the limbs and few leaves which came down, and even blew items from the patio roof which came from the tree. They were quick and very courteous. This company will be our choice for our trees when work is necessary. I recommend these professionals without any doubt.

I am overall happy with the service. But, I really think that besides putting chemicals down on the lawn, I really don't see any action to solve problems on my lawn. I feel that we pay a good price for the service and the technician is very personable. For example brown spots around trees. Using regular grass seed in shaded areas that don't grow vs seed made for shade.

I realize the weather does play a part. I would like to see more proaction on my lawn I do expect to have the best lawn possible. I have had many brown areas that was no attempt to resolve. Thanks

Ryan Lawn outdoor team did our landscaping for us. The designers, Sarah & Rebecca were fantastic, brought everything I loved for color, variety and pollinators. We re praying Spring will bring all that s planted back and stunning! Thank you team for all your hard work! We are grateful! Aeration and overseeding. The walk behind machines left several baseball size divots in the turf. Two was 12 x 6 inches and 3 inches deep. It appears to have happened when the machine was being turned around. The core prongs were still in the ground. Twisting the machine around tore chunks out. And some areas must have 25/50 plugs in 3x3 for 4x4 area.

Much of the backyard is destroyed. I put some of ripped out sod back in the divots. I'm sick! Follow-up: Was told they would come by in three weeks after service - Didn't come Was told all they could do is give me dirt and seed - Didn't. These people operated like scammers that roll into town and go door to door then head out of town in the middle of the night. They wasted a customer!

Nice green yard and new landscaping. If you need landscaping or just making your yard look more green, then call Ryan Lawn & Tree. I recommend them to anyone, very professional and always on time. I called 5 other contractors who wouldn't come out because I lived outside of Kansas city, this was the only company that wanted to get paid. I'm glad that they knew their stuff and helped me out.

Just had some pruning down by Ryan's Lawn after receiving several bids. Their bid came in lower than others, but in hindsight it was because their scope of work was less than what the other companies were going to do and what I had requested. Our roof needed clearance from a River Burch and I specifically mentioned multiple times, and pointed to the limb that was hanging just above the corner of our roof that I had concerns with and that I wanted removed.

The guy ( Zach L) who gave the quote said "We should be able to get to all of this by staying on the ground and not needing any major equipment". Turns out when they came to do the work, the man (Chris B) pruning the tree said he wouldn't be able to get the limb with the tools he had and the scope of work I wanted wasn't in the quote. It's very frustrating to ask for something and then not have the work be done right.

I called the office only to have Chris B call me back. Chris was very polite and professional but of course he had no control over the way the quote was was written and was not there when I had the initial conversation for the bid. It really showed a lack of ownership and accountability in my eyes as a whole. I will simply use another company in the future for my tree maintenance.

I gave 2 stars because the work that was completed by Chris and the crew was well done and they were very efficient and professional. The customer service and accountability was very disappointing.

My neighbor and I had a tree removed between our homes. Ryan Lawn and Tree came the day they said they would and quickly got the tree out of there. The stump was taken out the next week. The stump removal was so clean that I was able to plant a new tree in the same area and about 30 plants around it. My neighbor and I are pleased with the work, price, and friendly staff. I would definitely use and recommend Ryan Lawn and Tree!

I was extremely pleased with the service of the irrigation installation, and also the call back that I had. Everyone was extremely professional, nice, and easy to work with. One small problem that I had was fixed immediately to my satisfaction and was even checked by a manager to make sure that everything was in working order. I would highly recommend Ryan lawn and tree for any yard service. They were awesome!

I called Ryan Lawn & Tree for some assistance with some areas of dead grass in our yard caused by our dog. I was told I would have a visit from a turf specialist within 3 business days and be given their recommendation and quote. Four business days go by with no visit and no call. I called them again and was told the turf specialist would call me. Well, this prompted a call from Craig with an apology and a promise to be out the next day. It's now 3 days since that call and still no visit or any further communication from Craig or anyone else in the business. I've since contacted 2 other lawn care companies and had visits and quotes within 2 days. My experience with this company was nothing but a big disappointment. I'm sorry I wasted any time/effort to try to give this company my business.

Nick and the staff at Ryan's Lawn where on time clean up was excellent took out one 1 large spruce and 1 large cedar tree the price was very affordable I would hire them again and highly recommend them thanks guys Amelita & Cathey

I found Ryan Lawn & Tree on Yelp. I checked their reviews on Angie's list as well. Many people had great things to say about them and deservingly so. I did shop around and got quotes from three other companies that offer tree services and everyone quoted about the same price for the tree pruning we needed. So I knew the price was a fair price.

Never having had to take care of a tree before, I didn't know what to expect and thought when I got the pricing first that it was high. But it was a big branch of a neighbor's tree that was growing towards our new construction home and we knew it was only a matter of couple of summers before the tree would touch our home. I wanted to cut off the branch proactively.

I sent a Yelp message and got an instant reply. Scheduling was easy and I was able to correspond with one of the owners via text msg. The ease of correspondence is what made me choose them plus all the good reviews, of course. The service team arrived towards the end of the 1 hour window they gave us. We were informed they arrived and they finished their task in a few hours.

We have 3 week old sod under the tree and they made sure to do no damage to it. The cleanup was excellent as well. This tree was not a city owned tree but they offered to work with the city to get a permit if needed at no extra cost. I recommend them to anyone looking to maintain trees in the St. Louis area.

We can't say enough good things about Ryan Lawn & Tree. They've been to our house twice now, removing and trimming trees. They're pretty meticulous about cleaning up, and respond well when I asked for a few more limb ends to be removed (fire blight in a Cleveland Select). Prices are extremely reasonable in my experience, having had a couple dead trees removed years ago. We'd highly recommend using this company.

I'm so happy that I found Ryan Lawn and Tree. I asked several companies serving the St. Louis area for quotes on trimming tree limbs, and Ryan was by far the most affordable. I was skeptical that their pricing might be reflected in the quality of work, but after experiencing Ryan's excellent customer service through emails with Sebastian, I was assured that I chose the right company.

They did an excellent job with the tree and left our backyard as clean as it was before they arrived. Ryan Lawn and Tree will be top of mind for any future tree and landscaping needs.

I got about 5 quotes to take down a Bradford pear and trim a large maple. Ryan's was the best. Quality of work was outstanding. Prompt quote. Very professional. Excellent job overall. Certified arborists. Definitely recommend. Sebastian was the person that performed the work. Ask for him.

It was ok I suppose. They didn't really clean up when done. They left a rake in the yard, limb and a slice of a big branch and didn't clear stump to grade like they said they would. They just spread it all way out. They didn't leave invoice for last job and then tried to charge interest later.

For the first time ever I used Yelp to find a local tree trimmer in my area. I sent messages to several companies. Ryan Lawn & Tree responded. I was very impressed with their professionalism of our exchange. I eventually hired them for the job and I am so pleased! Not only did they provide a fair quote for free, they did exactly what I requested and we never met in person not spoke on the phone. That's impressive! I highly recommend them!

Best ever! I've used several lawn services over the years and at several different homes. I've never had a "Lawn Partner" like Ryan. They care, they are committed and they communicate about what the lawn needs and what they suggest we do about it. There are very few companies of any kind that provide this level of customer service.but I put them at the top of the list. Thanks to Craig for all your efforts on our behalf!
