Lately I visited the shop 3 times as I needed some material to fix the patio built many years ago. All the time I experienced rudeness and very limited customer service from different young ladies working there. This shop used to be very high in terms of customer service and manners. Too big now to care?

I asked them to make a bid on some work. SO, I drive up by this business quite frequently and I was stopping in there to get an estimate on some work for one of my properties. I leave my name and number, then get a call back almost immediately. the guy makes an appointment with me on the spot, then comes not just on time, but EARLY. wow. just wow. Then, this guy walks around my property giving me *free* advice about how to SOLVE MY PROBLEM without contracting with his company.

He tells me what to buy and how to do it WITHOUT paying him and WITHOUT contracting with his company to do the work. Like he gets really excited about helping me with my project and getting it done. I was sort of amazed. He shared actual solutions with me which I can do on a shoestring with materials from a home improvement store. HOW MUCH MONEY IS THIS GUY WILLING TO SAY NO TO?

How many companies can you think of that will actually DOWN SELL a client. That is a miracle. He is like downselling me from a heart transplant to a stint. Downselling me from dentures or a tooth extraction to a filling. CONCLUSION: This is a business you can trust to do good work for you and only the actual work REQUIRED. Get it? Got it? Good. UPDATE: I have a new project on one of my houses I need to call them about.

So far so good. Extremely friendly, helpful people gave us ideas, plans, instruction and estimates of materials needed for our retaining wall. We purchased from them and will start our project soon.

We regularly buy landscape rock here. Get it by the yard or by the bucket. The rock supply has always been well-maintained, and shovels are available in case you forget to bring yours.

They have excellent plants and are very knowledgeable about gardens! I bought a hanging plant for my mother that grew beautifully!

The crew that came was extremely efficient and had a good knowledge of what the project included. Travis, the lead person, was very concerned that everything was correct and to our satisfaction. At the conclusion of the project everything was cleaned and picked up. Todd Ihrke was very knowledgeable and helpful in choosing the plantings. He was also helpful in the overall design. Impressive, on the morning of the project Todd came to double check the plan. Overall we were very impressed with the workmanship and attention to detail. I went to Custom Retaining Walls to get edging, decorative rock and plants for the front of my house. I cannot say enough about how knowledgeable and helpful the two staff members were.
