Dealing with several landscapers beforehand, Jake's Designs was the only one who was upfront with me about pricing. Angela was excellent; she took the time to help me break down an existing plan and explained how to make the design more cost-efficient. She really took the time to shed some light on aspects of landscaping that, to me, was very unclear prior. I thoroughly recommend their services. We hired Jake's Designs Inc in 2021 to completely re-landscape both our front and backyard (BIG PROJECT!). We started the process by meeting with their designer Dani. We communicated what we liked/ disliked and what our priorities were and she came up with a very thoughtful and beautiful design. The project started on-time and lasted the duration that we were told.

The crew showed up on-time every day and always left the work site clean and neat. The crew's project manager Sam was in constant communication with us and answered all questions promptly. We absolutely LOVE our yard and get compliments from strangers all the time. We highly recommend Jake's Designs and will hire them again for any future landscaping projects!

We started working with Dani the designer about a year before we broke ground. She was so patient and kind with our design, and ended up creating a complete oasis in our back yard. We went very non-conventional in the design and Dani stuck with us the whole way. Once the crew started on the yard they were consistently on time, communicated well and did exactly what they said they were going to do. In a world of flakey contractors I cannot say enough great things about Dani and her crew! Hire them, you will not be disappointed!

I have used Jake's since around 2003. We have used them to do all the front, side and back yard work on our new old house. Their people are always polite and they work very hard. They are truly professional and do a professional job. Dani is great. She is able to pull out of your mind what you are looking for and put it on paper for the guys.

My second major landscaping project with Jakes, and I couldn't be happier! The team, led by Chris, of Brian, Brandon, and Logan did a fantastic job. Every afternoon, they made sure the area was clean and neat. They were respectful, considerate, and accommodating. Also, a special shout out to Ryan, who assisted mightily. I'd trust Jake's with any project. In fact, believe there will be another phase of beautification coming in 2022. Jake's has my very highest recommendation!

We Used Jake's Designs for landscaping our front yard. They made the process stressless. Dan walked us through the whole process and once the work started the crew arrived on time each day and cleaned up after themselves daily. We love our yard and have gotten many compliments on it.

Our experience with Jake's designs was awesome! Our designer Dani listened to what we wanted and what we didn't want, and came back with a great design for our house. My husband was especially happy with the putting green that was included in the design. They were very forthcoming with information and worked very hard to get us into the schedule as soon as possible.

The crew that did the work was very professional and friendly. And if there was any question about anything they would ask us so that they kept going in the correct direction. We couldn't have asked for anything better! Anyone who sees our yard compliments on how great it looks.

Met with Dan Long on August 29th for a patio, pergola, deck and landscaping design. Received the design (hardcopy) and it was what we were looking for but never received a digital copy. We asked for an itemized breakdown as we were probably going to do it in 2 or 3 parts and only received a proposal for the landscaping, and no further correspondence since September 21st. Pretty disappointing.

We recommend Jake's Designs hands down! We started out wanting a patio and a xeriscape solution to our nothing front yard of weeds and dirt. Dani listened to what we wanted, a patio and low maintenance, wildlife tolerant but pretty front area. She came back with a plan that was a work of art! It included low wattage lighting along the curvy flagstone walk leading up to a much larger and very beautiful front stoop, continuing on to the patio, which was flanked by a raised moss rock planting bed. Decorative rock and mulched planting beds completed the design, with, gorgeous hand picked boulders that were placed partially into the ground as if they had always been there.

These were "worked around" by the beautiful walk and edging of the planting beds. Ryan, the project manager, was such a meticulous manager making sure we were happy with each phase along the way and handling with ease the one hiccup we encountered of the former owner's inadequate plumbing hookup for the drip system installed by Jake's to accommodate our low maintenance wishes.

The crew was just as amazing as Dani and Ryan. Foreman Ryan, Angela, Anthony, tagteam Brandon and Mike were diligent, very artistic, and also meticulous making sure every curve and joint were cut and placed just right. They were relentless through weather that included snow, wind and mud. They were also genuinely appreciative as we were vocally impressed with every step.

Very importantly, they were tidy. Each day, everything was straightened up, covered, put away in the trailor or piled and marked with cones. There was never a bit of trash or sloppiness anywhere. We are absolutely thrilled with the gorgeous result of Jake's creative and highly professional design and xeriscape. We recommend them absolutely!

I loved the work done by this company. From the design to the finished product. Dan Long was the designer and that guy knows his stuff. Dan has patience with people trying to explain what they think they want and how it should be for drainage and the slope of your project. Along with lots of input on trees and plants. Dan ended up drawing four different plans for us and believe me we got what we wanted when the job ended.

The crew from Jake's was clean, polite and courteous answered any and all questions from the time it started until the very end. Those guys worked from 7AM until 5PM and were back the next morning as though they hadn't been doing this the day before. I would recommend this company to anyone.

The entire crew w/Jake's Design was professional & courteous throughout each step of the transformation of our backyard. From the initial consultation where Dan took the time to get to know us & what would work best for us, to the execution with Jason & his team. We have the perfect outdoor space that is perfect for us.

A year ago in September 2014 we had Jake's Designs do our landscaping. We were very excited to have a beautiful yard again. We met with the Owner Jake and were super impressed with his ideas and plans that would happen with our yard. We really liked the fact they had a 1 Year Guarantee on all plants, trees and grass. The crew was great that worked in our yard, as it got to the end we felt things were starting to be rushed because they needed to start a new yard at a different location.

At the end of our project we had some things that still needed to be fixed, but we went ahead and gave the final check thinking things would be taken care of. June of 2015 came and we were never contacted like we were told we would be to check on all plants, trees and grass. We contacted them in July and were told that someone would be by to look at everything.

The Owner came by and went over our list. We have called and emailed the Owner, called the former Warranty Manager that was in charge and the new Warranty Manager. We were told things would get done. It is now October of 2015 and we still have a dead tree in our front yard and some other miscellaneous items that have still not been addressed. It is disappointing that we have to call and ask when things will get done and still no response.

If a company truly cares about their work and word of mouth which is huge, its very important to complete a job that was paid for in full and honor your 1 year guarantee. I would not recommend this company if you are looking for a complete job and communication as to what is happening with your landscaping.
