Winrock Grass Farm

This place found a way to fail in every aspect of business. From being rude and cussing constantly to not telling me on the phone it's cash only, no receipt available, then the sod is full of clover and pasture weeds. There is no address and the one I found online (he would not take the time to tell me after I asked) is a gravel road that's posted no trespassing.

After waiting an hour trying to get him on the phone, I go past the signs and it's there. He sits in a truck and makes me wait 20 minutes to talk to him. He tells me cash only. Then when I return with cash, another 15 minutes as he talks on the phone to a company employee. An absolute joke of a business all the way around.

When you call this place it doesn't Matter when or we're he is he will service your needs of sod therefore I would highly recommend this company and they have some of the best grass I bet if you call him right now he will come gee you some grass

Terrible quality sod. We tried to overlook their overall disdain for customers because of the competitive pricing. Huge mistake! Never showed up for a couple weeks, despite repeatedly promising "today is the day." And after they finally gave us our order, their specialized shade king blend from one pallet died within a month, even with professional treatments. Another reviewer said it's not a "five-star hotel". but shouldn't customers expect decent sod? Such a ripoff. Don't buy from here. Look elsewhere!

I've been buying grass here for years. It's a grass farm.not a 5 star hotel. Thought I should say that based on a couple reviews I saw here. Dont show up expecting valet service and a concierge.

I was concerned after reading some of the reviews, but my experience couldn't have been any better. The man I dealt with on the phone, (Frank?) was very helpful and friendly. The boys that I used to pick up and lay the sod were very impressed with both the service when they picked it up (west LR location), and with the quality of the sod itself. They lay sod frequently, and they said that the Shade King that they picked up at Winrock was of much higher quality than any of the other farms they have dealt with.

My only gripe is that they were going to charge $300 to deliver my sod, which would have been bad if I needed a whole 18-wheeler load, and for only four pallets it was out of the question. Fortunately, the boys who laid it were able to pick it up.

I called for information on grass the gentleman I spoke with has to be the rudist person I spoke to in some time. I will never buy or recommmend anyone purschase grass from people with poor customer service such as the gentlemen I spoke with on the phone.

If I could rate a negative star I would. We lined up to get sod today from these people all is good I think so I drive to the address listed on google. I call the guy and let him know we are here but I can't find where to pull up or a building. He then proceeds to tell me that I am at the wrong farm of his. I told him that was the address that was on google.

He tells me that I shouldn't have asked google where to go I should have asked him. And tells me there is no way I will make it to the other place to get the sod but that they are behind and wouldn't be able to get it to me today anyways. After I had already called and made sure everything was good to go 2 hours ago. We where going to give these people a chance despite the horrible reviews on here because the price was a little cheaper than other places.

Never agian would I even think to use these people. He had an attitude as well not business professional at all. If you are thinking about using this company please rethink it. Just trying to save you the wasted gas and time these people will cause you to have.

Well, I just got off the phone with a woman who answered the phone with "yeah". I asked if this was the sod company. She said yes. When I told her in needed 14,000 square feet of Bermuda grass she told me they didn't have it because "THAT IS A WEED". Very unprofessional and hateful. I will not do business with this company because of this woman's attitude.

Wow, I just got off the phone with a lady that was rude as hell. I was simply asking her a question about the grass. She clearly has other issues in her life that don't involve grass.
