Services include long term care, design, and construction. All aspects of garden and landscape settings are included such as entertainment, pools and water features, fine carpentry, masonry in the old world tradition, irrigation using the latest technology, sustainable practices to ensure long term results, plants that suit the area and provide interest and value, terracing and retaining, and our specialty in erosion control and difficult drainage problems. Most established homes fall into this category unless landscaping was done thoughtfully in the beginning.
A few thoughts on garden design. We cultivate a sense of security through the garden itself, by building a proportionately scaled framework. All elements tie together to create interest, sanctuary, vivacity, and relationship to nature. The first image shows large raised planters using unpeeled redwood logs to line and elevate the gravel area.
Rainwwater is the best that can be had; free of chemicals, it is the best for watering plants. Additionally it can be used for water features. There are many options to recirculate the water feature with a rainwater holding area. The first image below shows layers of a rainwater harvesting system that uses water captured directly under the plant material (in this case a 4000 square foot area of lawn and perennials). Site is laser leveled. Then a EPDM membrane is placed along with chambers to store and transfer the water.
A progressive process is used to ensure client satisfaction and comfort. As soon as possible, a budget is established based on the client's needs and requests. Concepts are furnished to allow the client to custom suite the site to their everyday needs. We provide material samples, so you can hone in just the right look.

Terra Bella did a fantastic job helping me design and redo my yard front and back. Nikos was patient and listened to my ideas and gently offered his own, as the professional. He worked with me to make my vision come true. The plans included adding to my existing flagstone patio and Nikos made sure the stone matched perfectly. The lights are beautiful in the evening as they come on and go off with a timer.
The drip system keeps the plants watered and the smart meter knows when not to water due to rain. It's been over one year and my yard is beautiful as the plants have grown in. Nikos has been very responsive with answering questions and replacing plants as needed. I highly recommend Terra Bella Landscaping.

Book Him! Nikos and his team are well worth the price. We chose TerraBella for a full property makeover: front entry fence/gate, flowers, watering system, trees, pathways, steps, outdoor shower, turf, lighting, retaining walls, everything. He met with us many times to get our ideas out, then got to designing and presented a beautiful and very detailed plan with pictures, drawings, product lists all to help us see his vision.

Nikos and his crew did a great job transforming our sketchy landscape into a thing of beauty and function which we hope to enjoy for many years to come. Nikos was easy to work with and was most accommodating when changes were needed/requested. This was a five week 15000 square foot project that included elevation changes, crushed granite paths with 64 steps, a flagstone patio, several retaining walls, a Bocce court, a horseshoe court, and approximately 350 plants. There were a few bumps along the way but the project came in pretty much on time and on budget. Many thanks to Nikos and his crew for a wonderful landscape.

This past summer I met with Keith and his team to go over plans for a complete overhaul of our backyard. They were very responsive and worked well within our budget.even giving options that were less than we were willing to spend but still giving our backyard an amazing transformation. I cannot recommend them enough. Very professional and very nice guys.
